I also find it funny how its so much easyer to buy a real gun rather then an airsoft gun

I disagree, I bought my first two rifles before I was ASC verified from my local area. I was 18 but not verified so it is not impossible to buy them outside ASC.

I wonder if you could please explain your process more thoroughly?

As an age verifier we DO NOT ever ask someone to "send in your license" so I'm curious as to where you are sending it?

4 admins? wow I could probably name 3 off the top of my head...k maybe 4... PLease PM me with the Admins you've contacted, I have one on my team that may be able to help.

Also please PM me with whoever you met with to be age verified, I assume you already pm'd them directly of course?

EDIT: And another reason we ask people to fill in their location in their profiles is so we can refer them to closer help. If I saw where you lived I might have been able to contact someone directly close to you to speed up any possible delay.

Fuck, I was going to be the nice guy but you beat me to it Shrike.

Anyways, if you did your verification properly, three months is totally unexeptible. I mean, as soon as I get a persons info, I pass it on. They are usually verified in less than 24 hours, and that's usually the max.

Like Shrike said, fill out your info properly and we can try to help you out.

I got verified in 2 days..

From the perspective of someone that took several weeks to get my status updated, I can understand the frustration.

A new guy comes in and inquires about guns. He gets hammered on incessantly like he's some sub-human piece of shit to get age-verified. He does what he's told and goes through the process to meet with a rep, and then nothing. PMs are sent to the rep and admins, and nothing. It's very frustrating because those cries of "get age verified" by other forum members don't really stop until that little "Age verified" status appears under their name. I personally didn't have that problem. I lurked on the forum for a few weeks before signing up, so I knew better than to inquire about guns and such when I first signed up and wasn't verified, but still, others go through this on a daily basis.

I know that reps have lives, have other things to do, etc. But if a rep went through the motions of meeting with a member, how long does it take to log in to ASC and post that info in admin / mod sections and fire off a PM to one of the admins who has the power to update the user's age?

I don't know where the bottleneck is in the vefirication process, but I can see why users are frustrated.

If the reps use the process that has been in place since November it takes 1 to 3 days from the date it is reported in the correct thread.

If it takes longer then that, talk to your rep because they have not done it correct, not the admins fault. And we do not update till the information has been received correctly.
