There are different versions of the DBoys AKS74U, one that is steel, and one that is pot metal. Ancorp has worked on the steel versions while Zeaken, you own the pot metal one.

You should have ponied up the extra dough for the steel version, it's worth its weight in gold.

I dont't think that option is available when buying the GHK aks74u ^

There is currently only one version of the ghk available, i did not have a choice between steel and pot metal. Maybe down the line they will switch up to the higher quality bodies.

Both the all steel and older Dboys AKs have steel bodies.

well thats odd, maybe ghk skimped on quality products for the body. I am always more concerned about the internals as it is a gas gun but luckily we have a local metal working guy aka Dobey. :)

GHK = a converted D-boys AKS74U, and is made of pot metal !

RA-TECH = has two versions

1. the ghk one, being a d-boys converted pot metal gun
2. a converted VFC aks74un being all steel
