The "kind sir" you refer to, was me. As I recall it didn't take anything extra to pop open the ejection port, just pull the charging handle.
*note, I dont work for VA.. was just near the table and Frank was busy. This guy looked lost, so I answered a few questions until Karnage was free. |
On my TM, simply pulling the cocking handle didn't always release the port. I found I had to slightly pull the handle towards the left side of the gun while pulling it back so the little nub engaged the mechanism to unlock the port.

On the G&G, any counter-clockwise rotation of the charging handle during the initial length of the pull can result in non-release of the dust cover.

@phantastik Generally, if you need to ask "what do I need to upgrade", you don't need to upgrade. ;) |

Mostly just in awe of everything. Ill try pulling the charging handle, it wasnt working yesterday, there's no way it somehow is malfunctioning right? |

I'm going out to an event asap, i know i can make it out to the march 1st event in the GTA
I'm mostly looking to meet some people who live nearby for carpooling etc |
I tried pulling the dust cover release in one quick motion and such... still won't open..... D:
That and when i pull out a mag that has bb's still in it, it dumps about 3-4 bb's out. Ugh i need to get someone who knows that they are doing to show me around it asap |

:) thanks. As far as getting the BBS to feed from the mag without holding the magazine anything else i should be thinking of doing other than the drops of oil someone suggested |

I'm using low caps right now.

Yea the mags feel ridiculously loose in the receiver... going to go out and crank the hop up... that or you know... some good old fashioned taping the mag into the gun D:
|
how loose are we talking here? the mag will probably wiggle a bit, that's pretty normal. as long as it does not impede the feeding of ammo into the chamber, or the mag falls out when you're walking or running, i wouldn't fiddle around with it to much.
