As a newcomer it is recommended to buy an AEG. I wanted to try sniping but the community insisted that I don't. Personally I'm still unaware of what to purchase as far as a gun goes as well. But yes, getting age verified is apparently a good thing to do. Understand that it will allow you to access a large variety of nice guns for cheaper. I gotta get around to doing it too :) Good luck, have fun.

Not nice guns for cheaper, just nice guns period. Stuff that's a lot better than whats available without being AV'd.

Correct. There's no such thing as cheap airsoft in Canada. Between the retailers and private sales, you'll find a good variety of guns, some nicely upgraded, with the odd real great deal popping up occasionally.
