Yep well said. I've seen a few SAM-R that went for 1200 to around 700 in a year. For a lot of people who just want a metal body. A Chinese gun well upgraded still cheaper than a stock G&P .

I usually don't like to deal with noob but actually I always good to them. I somehow that I regret to sell my PTW so damn cheap to them.

Feedback is also really important, always check the seller's feedback, if you think the gun is a lemon, check the seller's recent posts, maybe they posted a thread in the Doctor's Corner, see if the issue was resolved etc.

Great OP (original post) man.

Well written, and look at all the positive conversation that has arisen! Although, no one has really talked about "scammers" at all... Be interesting to see people analyze that mindset.
