Couple things right off the bat to spot the fake.

1) WileyX SG1's have removable lens
2) WileyX SG1's have a protruding nose piece
3) The elastic strap from WileyX is all black (no orange)
4) The ear pieces and straps are removable closer to the frame/lens

thanks for this post. i was planning to buy a wiley XL-1 on ebay and yes its always seems to be a good deal, but oopps.. not anymore. i think i'll just buy it directly from their website.
