Most of the guys i game with have upgraded guns shooting 370-380 fps why do you want the gun to be any hotter? flagraiders and the Twat field have a 400 fps restriction where are you planning on using it? Just because 400 fps is a limit doesn't mean you have a gun that shoots 398-400 fps. Work on how you play with others and team tatics then work on your gun. I don't think anyone wants a noob rambo running around shooting people with a 400 fps gun

90% of guns actually achieve their best performance (in terms of range and accuracy) between 360 and 380 FPS. The other 10% achieve their best at a lower velocity.

quoted for truth. Most accurate, best effective ranged gun I have fires somewhere between 340 and 360 (haven't cronied it yet but judging on the bbs travel time I'd say it's between those). When my jg 416 fired 390 (came stock at that) I couldn't hit targets more than 50 feet away, now at 330 it double it's effective range with the stock barrel still in it (meaning to get a tightbore)

My longest range rifles also happen to be my lowest velocity ones. My Real Sword Type 56 shoots 300-310 and it has a sick, stupid effective range, and even stupider range (I lose sight of the BBs before they hit the ground). Next is my custom C8 at 325 fps. My C7 is about the same as my C8, and it shoots 380.

If you're going to upgrade a Kraken, upgrade the internals for reliability and consistency and change the hopup rubber. That'll be a much better upgrade than a spring. And as already mentioned by someone else, invest in a good quality battery and charger. And always use good quality BBs.
