if you took a thundermaul body, painted it black, i think it would bulk the ass end up and make it look beefier, and it would fit with the futuristic sorta style

seconds that! even painted black...

its just hte back half of the body, all the wierd front grip crap would be cut off. it would just add size to the reciever, and chance the carry handle...

Well it would certainly fit right in on a movie set, it does have a unique look.

Why are you referring to it as a support weapon?

The drum, simply because of the added barrel length - the bigger fire muzzle - heat shielding now on the outside and the higher ammo count with the drum.

What I'd do:

1. Ditch the carry handle, and put on some kind of optic. Not a scope, but an RDS of somekind. Not your typical EOTech/Amipoint....something with a little more "industrial" look to it....maybe a C-More clone co-witnessed to a BUIS?

2. Ditch the M4 stock and add something to complete the industrial look - a Magpul CTR, UBR, or even better a M93B.

You are very right, but I just did the front. I was also sweetheartening with the MAGPUL CTR though - looks industrial and has a little bit of futureistic design to it - also price wise an interesting option.

As for the optic - I am having already an idea - will look nasty - and with the carry handle off alone she looks much meaner already.

she is not finished as i said, but i wanted your guys input and so far you guys are more then constructive - thanks a thousand

maybe use the mauls stock and grip, but the actual receiver no, besides the receiver on the maul can't be used with a drum.

Loving the front end on that thing!

I'd think just M203 Long the hell out of the launcher instead of the madbull one, but yet again - price vs looks and functionality.

For the rifle stock the Thundermaul stock would look decent on it, but at the same time the Magpul PTS CTR, UBR, or the M93B would all look pretty badass on it.

If you had the cash (and could fine one....GRRRRRRRRRRRRR one day, one day...) one of those Vltor SR 25 Receivers on it.

Or just the stock.

and, yes, as someboady already mentionned, ditch the carry handle, and put some kind of opticals

THE BOSS August 5th, 2009 11:17

any retailer you know who carries the Magpul PTS CTR, UBR?

Help appriciated.

thanks.

Thenooblord August 5th, 2009 11:21

huang may, hes got everything

Loathing August 5th, 2009 12:02

Airsoftparts.ca carries the Magpul PTS CTR, they're out of stock at the moment, I got the last one =D Could just contact them to see when they're getting more in.

I know I've seen Huang selling the UBR, so send him a PM if you want to look into that.

I'm sorry, but filthing it up with an anime guns parts wouldn't be appropriate for this thing. If anything, I'd agree with getting more magpul parts, or a fancier crane stock to match the front end of the thing. the Vulcan front end looks pretty nice with the regular armalite body.

My vulcan prototype or that butt ugly Thundermaul.

I like my design because it reminds me back on my favourite weapon in the army - Our Austrian MG72 Streyr.

I like it - but as I said taste is a very individual animal.

And I agree with the Magpul parts as somebody said earlier in a reply. too futuristic as appache was mentioning does not fit - industrial, profen , abused , functional goes through in terms of real feel .
