That radio you linked is a VHF

You need to be absolutely sure you get a UHF, otherwise you wont be able to talk to anyone else

Griffen December 28th, 2009 22:38

Ahh good call Riley. Thanks. Still on the look out. Do they ever sell these in pairs? Arrg.

Hahahahaha. I love the Chef. The mic was only 10$ so ill give it a go. After researching the Radio 70.00 shipped was a killer price. Most i saw were well over 125$

So i got my GP68 today printed off the smaller 18 page manual...wowzers!!! These things are crazy. It talks about getting it programed or "cloned" is this maybe a good idea? Do you guys know any good site that maybe have a tutorial on this radio. Its a lot to take in all at once...feeling a bit overwhelmed.

ThunderCactus January 11th, 2010 23:55

I can run your through it in person, its actually very simple

Amos January 12th, 2010 00:00

Lol you should seriously host a "How the use a fucking GP68" clinic... Ivan just got 9 of them

Griffen January 12th, 2010 00:19

Sweet thanks!!!

ThunderCactus January 12th, 2010 17:08

That's an excellent Idea, Ivan team meeting with guest speaker Thundercactus to talk about the GP68's and the million commands you need to know in order to use them with GMRS radios lol

Amos January 12th, 2010 18:00

Sounds like a plan, I'll pass it on to Boot lol

Griffen January 12th, 2010 18:38

If you guys are serious i wound love to attend. I'll bring punch and pie!!!
