Played for the first time with my 10/22 this year. Hopup adjustment was even worse than last year (which was pretty good actually). Finally ordered a RATECH hopup rubber and I'll put that in next week to hopefully make it much better.

yes i just read the form and took my gun apart and washed the hop up rubber in lukewarm soapy water. anything else should be done before i put it back?

my hop up does not seem to even function, it just goes straight 150-200 feet and then hits the ground with using reallyshitty .28's. i put my gun back together yesterday and it worked fine, minus the hop up.

Buy a Ra-tech hopup sleeve.

150-200 feet is pretty far. Fairly near the max effective range of the gun.
If your hopup wasn't working, it would go about 30 or 40 feet.

and dont use shitty ass BBs and dont use 28s....

if you value your gun and its internals you will burn them. never put crap through your gun if you actually care about it and want it to be accurate.

ya im throwing them out as i type this. i just needed them for one game so i would have bb's to use. it was either that or 0.2's. i have a test pack from bb bastard coming in soon that has a bunch of diffrent weights, so i can get the best bb's for my gun.

Agreed. If I had a 10/22 I'd post lots of pics. Especially with a sexy M1 carbine kit. ::cool:

so buy one. but personaly i think the M1 kit is ugly as sin.
