I guess this is to be expected in such cold weather, but I'm still impressed that it even worked to be honest.

My TM glock, on the other hand, had troubles cycling properly in the cold.

-30*C?! God, I cant imagine putting my gbbr to use on such cold. But hey it shows the KJW TK is superior even to a TM :D although on different category of gun type.

Hey guys...I was wondering for the ones of you that equipped their M4 with a RIS...what brand did you buy ? I bought a freaking Dboys and it doesn't fit ...its too small for the deltaring

let me know please !

LocoYokoPoco March 10th, 2011 23:48

I have a King Arms VLTOR Casv on mine. I had to file a bit of the upper receiver rails to get it to fit.

baker_Jeff March 11th, 2011 00:11

The Dboys do fit, you just have to do some filing.

I put a G&G RIS on my KJW M4. It was a pain to get on, but it did fit. I'll post some pics later.

if you could help me out with the fitting that would be great ! what do I have to do in order to make it fit ? it seems really too small for the ''dents'' in the delta ring !

baker_Jeff March 11th, 2011 15:31

Correct, you either have to file the teeth on the delta ring, or file a groove into the rail. If you stare at the pieces long enough, you'll know what I mean.

Helped him figure it out, he'll be doing such anytime soon !

Mind sharing? Pictures would be nice.

audi_bhoy March 20th, 2011 18:28

No pictures ATM, but just take a close look to your split RIS parts where it meets the delta ring's teeth, there are some cuts into the RIS to fit those teeth, the one on top and bottom are in straight line and won't block, but the ones where the 2 RIS parts meet will block on the RIS slots, so filing down the side teeth of the delta ring will allow them to get into the grooves.

Anybody have a link to a video or an informative install guide for the NPAS?

I had Amos put one in for me before he shipped it, it broke and he sent me a new one but i don't think I put it back in correctly and I cannot find a video on youtube or anything useful really.

LocoYokoPoco March 22nd, 2011 01:39

It's the same process as the Cradle Velocity Reducer
YouTube - Cradle Airsoft O-Ring Piston and Velocity Adjuster Installation for KJW M4

But IMO, the NPAS sucks. Mine broke in a matter of days. I would personally stick with the cradle one.

Did it break from adjusting it or from firing it?

theshaneler March 22nd, 2011 11:37

the RA-tech NPAS has a design flaw and they break constantly. i would stick with the Cradle one till RA-tech makes a gen 2 NPAS

I know this was covered on page 12, however I've seen people do this...the magpul m.o.e. hand guard...has anyone tried to put this on? My AEG m.o.e. hand guard is too long...milspec the way to go? Or can you adjust where the front sight sits?
