does anyone know what is the difference between Systema the Military/Law Enforcement and the regular civilian version ?

could it be the Mil/Le version have higher specs or better build quality ?

and is it posible for a civilian to buy mil / le version ?

I can tell you right now, that if you ordered that yourself from Ehobby, the likelihood of it coming here is slim to none as it will most likely be confiscated at the border. And you will loose the item and your money. No questions asked.

Well it was reviewed by customs and is on truck for delivery, according to my tracking number, so I guess I'll find out after work if I get delivered an empty box :-)


Update ---> Well, I got my silencer. Not sure if I just got a really cool CBSA officer, or if they're actually able to read the words "for airsoft and simulation only" or what, but yay me. I'll be honest, didn't even realize silencers would be on the 'no-no' list, and didn't think to check. Which was stupid of me, and something I'll be more careful about in the future. So my apologies for unintentionally suggesting someone do something potentially illegal, but hooray that I managed to slip through the cracks...

Unfortunately, apparently MagPul released a new version of the Blackout flashhider, because I was hoping I could swap this can from my PTW to my Masada, but the Masada has the old version, and it won't screw on properly. Oh well...

Have a question for you guys. I have an 07 PTW, and I run a lipo in the buffer tube. Is this likely to be the stock buffer tube?
Also, would a Marui XM177 stock fit on it, if it was the stock tube?

It's likely the stock buffer tube if you still have the same stock. If not, it's probably mil-spec. As a general rule with AEG buffer tubes, stay away for PTW's. You need mil-spec type where they twist into the receiver. A lot of AEG tubes require a screw to hold them in place I believe.

never heard of a replica suppressor getting stopped at the boarder...

I want to keep the same buffer tube, but put a Marui stock on it. Right now, if I have a clone Magpul ACS stock, it should fit a Marui stock right?

You should be fine if you have a Magpul ACS on it. Did you install it? Is it from a GBB kit?

The previous owner installed it, I just texted him to see what the deal is. Thanks for the help!

Either way, silencer's here... And my PTW should be here by the end of the week, I'm looking forward to posting pictures of it up soon as I get it :-) Oh and shooting it also.
