OP: That is you have broken a PROVINCIAL BY-LAW if you are a minor. Not a Federal one. If you're 18+ then it's all good however.

In Ontario the law says 18+, other provinces have "policies" for selling to 18+ but they are not law (policy =/= law). As well there are and have been people who are under 18 and when they turned 18 they were not welcome at the fields because of shit like uttering threats or stuff like that (not the type of player we want to have).

You're possibly right although the join date of the account was in 07 so there is a possibility of forgetting about the account or something until recently (co-incidentally when his brother decided to start posting) but I give him the benefit of the doubt because he would have had to join at 13 if he really was 16 now (not something that's highly improbable, hell I had this account when I was like 14/15).

I also only perused through the posts and it seems there is a slight variation in the sentence structure. (I'm not a linguist at all, I just notice some small things that may mean the poster is a different person).

EDIT: Soldier101: Just in case you are a minor and trying to skirt ASC policy (not Canadian policy or even law just the policy we have here on ASC), if you get someone who's 18+ as a sub or standin and it's found out you will lose ALL trust and will likely be unwelcome in the community.

I am well aware of the provincial laws, and I am not breaking them. I'm 19 right now, so yes, I'll admit I was underage when I first made this account, however I don't think I ever posted until most recently. I never planned on having someone stand in for me, that would be a waste of time on that persons part...For what? To be accepted onto a forum? What if I want to go play with you guys sometime, then you'd know I was a completely different person! I love airsoft, that's it, that's all.

Don't worry I'm 19 as well and I was actively posting while I was underage so no worries about that just I was warning about using a standin. Some members have had their older brother or parent try to get AV'ed for them and their standing in the community has not been good because of it.

Anyways, this forum is one of the larger communities in Canada and a great resource for knowledge and such.

PS: I'm not trying to be hard on you or anything and if it seems as if there is animosity in my posts I don't mean it just that I'm somewhat of a "protectionist" in regards to airsofting in Canada due to the nature of the law in Canada and the society/culture we live in as well as the power of public policy makers/"soccer mom" lobbyists (they wield a lot of power) if something bad happens.

Why won't my gun shoot? I've charged the battery, loaded the mag (yes I cranked the bottom), turned safety off, plugged in the battery...what am I missing!?! Nothing happens...It's as if there is no battery in there at all...Knowing me it's an obvious mistake...

What size (voltage) battery do you have? If you're pushing 9v on an 8.4v pack it'll overheat it.

If you really are 18+ I strongly suggest you change your password so your "little brother" no longer has access to the account, and get Age Verified like your ass not getting banned depends on it. I don't really care how inconvenient that is for you; if you don't have time to get AV'd you most likely don't have time to be on here either, so that just works itself out by itself from where I'm standing.

Either way I strongly urge you to get yourself squared away, post haste.
