This political system is pretty fucked up, but it's not because of a single party. If you want to preserve some liberties though, vote Libertarian.

Liberal is a political view NOT JUST A PARTY. Conservative is the opposite view also NOT JUST A PARTY. Just thought i'd clear that up for you.

no, nor is it cool to bring politics into this thread. Can we just say "good job on a (finally!) balanced news report", or do we have to have another session of armchair quarterbacking about politics?

There's already enough of that bullshit on ASC. You want to change something? Stop ranting about it and go cast a vote in the next election, or run for an office.

I, for one, VOTE we keep this political crap to a minimum.

Yeah, one of my friend's friends got his gun confiscated when Police were investigating explosions reported by the neighbors. Why he would just leave it out in the open on his bed is one boat load of stupidity. But then again, this is also the same guy who told me "I just go out with shorts and a t-shirt. Why do I need goggles?"

I do the same with my newsroom. I have them well versed now when it come to coverage of airsoft. They know there are for sport and don't buy into the fear that is generated by authorities.
