By the way we've had the Kriss Vectors here (Calgary) since Feb 07. But of course, they are SOLD OUT now..... :(
We are hoping to get more in a couple of weeks. Ken |
here's the thread I started on doing the valve swap to get your Kriss to indoor/CQB levels:

Got my Kriss V yesterday. Love everything about it so far besides the price tag on mags. -_-

Well that was fast.

it says theyre looking for another airsoft partner, so they just dont like KWA?
|
So KWA does all the R&D, then Kriss kills the partnership...
There's something fishy around this story. |
Good thing I got mine already O_O
|
yea no kidding, everyone told me i was a fool to get the first batch and that i should wait a year or two! soooo who wants to buy a kriss.... 2 million dollars! its a limited edition after all :p

Maybe that's TM's new big announcement. A licensing deal with KRISS???
|
I doubt they'd sign on exclusively with TM given TM's limited target audience (domestic).
I also don't get where the idea that the Kriss will disappear comes from: they're terminating their "exclusive trademark licensing with KWA" not discontinuing the airsoft Kriss. All that says its KWA will no longer be the exclusive trademark licensee; they may even continue producing licensed products alongside other manufacturers for all we know. Personally I half expect this results from a licensing agreement with Cybergun (or maybe even Umarex if they decide to produce a 4.5mm BB version) which would increase distribution significantly compared to KWA alone. And while KWA may have produced a succesful GBB version (which is what KWA is known for) someone else may be doing the AEG version. |

I'm sure that the Vector will be here for a long time, even if it is through a different manufacturer. There was way too much demand and they sold out way too fast for the Vector to just be dropped all together... |

You haven't read all the way.... This termination affects all current and future KRISS airsoft projects, including the popular KRISS Vector SMG GBB and upcoming AEG version. KRISS Arms will also be actively pursuing any infringements of its patents and trademarks worldwide, including unauthorized manufacturing and distribution of KRISS product replicas. As part of its strong commitment and support to the Milsim and professional training community, KRISS Arms will be seeking for new innovative partners in the airsoft industry to market its current and upcoming airsoft products. |
People saying it'll go to vfc for oem and be sold by umarex
