For those who don't know it is an abandoned mental health facility and consists of 3 buildings, one is 1 story, one is 2 stories and the last is 3 stories tall. It has a small village constructed in the field out front. LOTS of halls and rooms. It blows TTAC out of the water, but the downside is it is a 3 hour drive away.

I've played a lot a PRZ .. and Hosted a few games and Training events at PRZ

it is an excellent CQB environment..

pretty much impossible to clear without a lot of grenades.

Absolutely rocks at night.

I've been there so many times now though that it is feeling used up for me.

Im a huge fan of urban ops for all the reasons Brian already listed. PRZ was fun in its glory day but alot of games now turn out to be the same thing, unless you have a good game host (Brian, c3sk) who can keep things different.

Lately Flagraiders has been a good place to play with a nice mix of both. The night games there are great, there is enough ambient light that even without NV you can still be part of the game.

TTAC however will always be my fav place to play, not just for the urban fighting, but the players you get out there as well.

Now what we need is a place thats like TTAC only 100 times as big...that would be epic!

Well Viper, many people have the same (albeit opposite) opinion of you. Like myself. I've played a bunch of times at FR and love it still, its getting quite old and stuff plays out the same for me. I've never gotten the opportunity to play at PRZ yet.

Yea but PRZ also lost its insurance. Thats why we aren't playing there for Rhino. Plus I think this new Rhino location will blow PRZ out of the water.

Cobalt Caliber, My dad owns PRZ. We did not lose our insurance! Maybe you should check your information before you spread it around. We still have insurance and still host Paintball and Airsoft events. There is a reason why Rhino is not being hosted at PRZ but I am not going into detail why that is. As for blowing PRZ out of the water, there is no competition, we should all support each others fields. PRZ hopes that Rhino will be a great success at the new location.

By far...field games. As long as the field is large enough and not barren, there's infinite possibilities and permutations.

Unless the cqb facility is huge (ie picton, where rhino is this year, pine plains, etc) or unless it's designed to be different every time (ie TTAC)....cqb places get stale very quickly. It's like playing the same level of a video game over and over. That has it's place for training and team building, but I tire of it for repeated game play.

I'd lump flag raiders somewhere in between. If it's skirmishing on 1 section of the field...it gets boring very quickly. If it's opened up to a couple of fields or the whole place then it's a completely different environment. Even with the same structures, roads, hills, etc...if it's opened up it's a good mix of everything.

Comes down to what you're looking for...who you're playing with...and how it's approached. As long as everyone's on the same page it's all good...skirmish, milsim or something in between.
