Well, I agree with pretty much every response to your little review there. I've had none of the issues you describe. My only complaint about the E90 is that the front grip flexes and creaks an ever so slight bit. Otherwise worth every bit of the $350 I paid for it.

Not sure if it was mentioned in the thread there, but I think he was one of the unlucky few that got one of that baddies. One of the most disappointing things was that they had sanded down lower receiver when the the badly cast upper was the one needing it. It made the upper from the E1 incompatible with both our TM P90s.

Heh, sounds like it also suffered from incorrect repairing.

Yeah, I have a feeling this was those one in a million. Maybe something E1 didn't want either. Who knows.

That's a review for the ACM P90. From what I've been gathering online to date, the E1 and ACM are NOT the same gun, but rather the ACM is a poor copy of the E1.

I can guarantee that my E90 has none of the problems listed in this review. Casting of the metal upper is of excellent quality and is as straight and precise as it should be. Everything is straight, lines up well, and fits together as it should. There are no wobbles, loose parts, etc. This is a solid, well built gun.

I had a chance to give it a side by side comparison to 2 TMs at a game a couple of weeks ago. I'll conceed the TM has higher quality ABS in the main body, although I like the more textured feel / lower shine of the Echo 1. And of course, the TM has all the correct FN trademarks and such, which the Echo 1 lacks. But if that's really an issue to anyway, you can legally import a TM plastic lower for really cheap, and the E1 receiver slides right on to the TM body effortlessly.

Otherwise though, if I had the choice of a brand new TM or E1 for the same price, I would still pick the E1 hands down.

Ah, then I need to rewrite that review. I checked a lot of pics, and it's as close to identical as I could see. I bought an E1 gearbox myself, and everything was identical down to the overlubing. My friend joked that they had assembled it, and then lubed it in a tub full of grease. I laughed, but when I opened it I wasn't laughing anymore. It actually spat grease into my barrel o.0

The E1 mechbox has a retarded amount of grease in it. I didn't clean it yet because quite frankly I didn't feel like it.. but it's on my list of things to do.

I haven't opened my mechbox, so can't comment on its internal lube job. Once I actually need to get into it, I'll report back.

I opened it to swap out the spring with a stock CA one. I think I'll just order a new complete mechbox for outdoor gaming. Gotta love the P90.

I thought it was the body of the P90 (the part that holds the action) that is prohib for import on this gun.

The upper receiver is restricted. That's the part that holds the barrel, etc. It's the part on the real steel that has the serial number. The plastic lower isn't restricted.

Yeah! I bought mine when I was all new to airsoft, and was blown away by how easy it is it take out the mechbox, compared to most other softguns. My SIG 552 is a nightmare to disassemble in comparison. I also decided to go for a 2x mechbox setup, as opposed to upgrading my stock TM one. That way I can have one for indoors (300FPS or less), and one for outdoors (350ish FPS). Just make sure you take off the upper receiver, when you insert the mechbox!
