Hey pugs, where'd you get that info about AOR1 being different from Dig2? I ask because in the pics I'm thinking of there are guys wearing a lbt 6094a with eagle dig2 pouches. Also from what I hear it's just different companies nomenclature

Got the info from Ace Of Spades. Him and the Contras are the go-to guys when it comes to this sort of thing. From what I understand, Digi2 was developed by Crye. Also IIRC, the AOR1 and AOR2 patterns will be used on the new utility uniforms that'll be issued Navy-wide.

I've seen AOR2 (woodland) advertised on LBT's website at one point but can't seem to find any references to it anymore.

You're probably right that the Digi and AOR are the same, just different nomenclature. Honestly, I don't have the time anymore to keep up with who's-wearing-what-pattern and who-makes-that-chestrig etc.

Here's another interesting pattern NSW has been seen using:

Anybody got info on this?

That pattern of shirt went up on ebay a while ago from Easy. I can't remember what the info about it was. It dates from around 2006-2007 and was the precursor to DIG2. If I where still in contact with Easy, I would be able to get LOTS of info on it.

For the whole AOR vs DIG2 thing, I'm not the best to answer such questions, I do get lots of info from friends that work with SEALs (MP's at their bases or RIVRON/SWCC dudes), but I find that it is sometimes unreliable and quite a long wait between updates.

AOR IS DIG2 for all intensive purposes, just using LBT's name for it.

I used to have a bunch of info on that weird pattern stuff. From what I remember there were a few fabrics up in the air for selection for NSW. That was one of them. The pattern itself was a desert version of a hunting camo, I even had the website bookmarked (can't find it anymore). The fabric was given to beyond tactical to put together in one of their leet cut bdus. Thats the info I had found anyways.

I had the link as well. I asked about it on the Wannabe forums but my thread got deleted because of the drama with that Two Step fella during that time. Ghey.

We've all seen that picture. It doesn't change anything said above. We don't actually know if Devgru are wearing it outside of that one photo. It may just be him trying on a potential camo choice. I'm sure they would try and run them through the paces before making a decision. Plus Devgru gets all kinds of crazy stuff to test.

It's official, the US Navy will be adopting the blue Navy Working Uniform. I suppose AOR1 and AOR2 will be just for the high speed types.

It looks faaaabulous!!!

The Mexinadian November 4th, 2008 00:13

I've seen those uniforms. They are nasty looking.

Manvil November 4th, 2008 00:25

lovin' the performance mock turtlenecks, definitely have to pick one up for this season. Weird how close they look, almost a waste of having two.
