And if those zillion accessories help you win the fight ? Everything you'd see on a modern fighting rifle (LAM/torch/vert grip/ready mag/optics/BUIS) has a purpose.

But again, this is ASC, where lots of people are eager give their sheep-like opinions, freshly collected from the bandwagon of poop. :)

;)

dude those accessories barely do anything in airsoft, yes they are necessary in the realworld, but when i step onto the field i do not use any of them and i do not find myself getting pwnd because of my lack of accessories

i use ak's I currently own 2.5 (need a gb to complete one) and they shoot plastic bb's just as well as any tricked out armalite can and i can shoot people with it as easily as they can shoot me back, unless the accessories actually deflect bb's then i cannot see their practicality for airsoft use.

Its not an AK, its a Valmet RK type rifle. Stop bitching !

Well, RDSs, holosights, etc aid in quick target aquisition. So a tricked out Armalite/AK sporting an RDS may shoot a more well aimed bb quickly (such as if caught by surprise, mostly for CQB). Magnification sights don't have much of a purpose in airsoft, but they are used to check out far away enemies, positions and other distant information which can be relayed back to a team (ofcourse binoculars do this too).

Redi-mag systems allow a person to swap out their mags quicker in a bad situation than some one who has to dig them out of a pouch. That's definately important in a fire fight.

Too lazy to think of other useful RS/Airsoft accessories.

Obviously not all accessories are going to have a use in airsoft, but think about it this way: We paid money to have toy guns that look exactly like real world guns, so why not complement our expensive toys with accessories that you might find on the real world guns. Hell, we could all be out there playing paint ball instead if we didn't care about the awesomeness of being almost soldier. So even though they may not be practical, they kind of fill out the look and add to the game (plus everyone loves upgrading, inside and out).

PS - Legend of Zelda music is epic :)

Don't forget working silencers! I've noticed that AEG's with working silencers cannot be heard over long distances compared to those without them....

agreed. I had forgotten about the RDS i used one once and it is very helpful, but i still like the traditional RS look of a bare ak ;)

According to you, you haven't fired your PTW yet (ever), at least not the last time I talked to you. Did that change in the last couple days?

EDIT: as for the AK - it'd be much more reasonable if it had the AKM stamped receiver and such on it. Milled AKs are rarely "railed".

Methinks JG, just like Cyma, are making lots of different railed AK-47s to get rid of AK-47 parts and move on to something else... perhaps.

Desmodus July 26th, 2008 22:55

That actually doesnt look too bad... hmmm

Yeah, goodluck looking for your missing light after dumping a couple of mags....

Shit, this whole "fail" thing is really pissing me off. If you don't know what the heck yer talking about, shut yer noisehole (not directed at pusangani).

grrr. </rant>

I find this ironic... Coming from ANOTHER person with zero real world experience...

So Kos, Ever fired anything 7.62? Infact... have you fired ANYTHING at all? The whole "1337 OPERATOR" thing is getting rather old...
