Nice to see such an elaborate comparison though, gives people a general bit of information that was otherwise not readily available.

Also helps to be best friends (and now roommates) with one of the top selling, if not the top selling Bastard, Testtube.

So Testube and CDN_Stalker live in a clock tower somewhere in Ottawa.....

I have yet to get a brain and I've offered rewards to people for getting me a brain - one free bag per brain.

If you want to send them to me Spawn, I've been dying to get my hands on some. Let me know and if you give them to Jeroon, he'll trade you a bag of your choice for a brain BB.

Jay

True, but, if you did a team order (50 bags or more) there is a 10% discount. You're just counting retail price only. So at discount quantities you're looking at .45 per BB.

I don't aim to be the cheapest, I try to be the best deal between price and quality, as I look at the cost of someone's gun getting jammed or pooched by oversized or badly formed BB. Putting aside accuracy, over time many little imperfections can affect your feedpath, leave material in your mags and guns, causing wear and tear and eventual failure. My first goal is to ensure the product is safe and that you can shoot it in the 10s of thousands of shots with minimal potential for damage or gun failure...

Hehe, ya, I did him a favour by letting him move into my place since he was in a real bind, and it's working out pretty good, I'm not home much so he's been taking care of my 'Clock Tower'. When I am home, I'm on overwatch and he passes me the ammo. Lol

80 cents for 2000?

Blackthorne August 29th, 2009 17:32

Calculators are included in Windows operating systems guys..... :D

It's .005 cents per BB.

0.005 X2000 = 10 or $10

No it's 0.5 cents per BB, or 0.005 dollars.

$10 = 1000 cents

1000 cents / 2000 BBs = 0.5 cents/BB.

Hate to be a stickler.. but..

"VA BBs in Toronto can be picked up locally for 0.004c/bb if you know where to look"

He never said it was $0.004/bb. That would make it 0.4cents each. He states "0.004c/bb" meaning that 2000bb's would be a grand total of 8 cents.

Edit: I'm well aware that he must've been talking about 0.5cents each. Just thought I'd point out the slight typing mistake :P

Karnage August 30th, 2009 07:37

yeah my bad :) $10 for 2500 BBs

I have been using and selling Metal tech BB since 2006. My team and a lot of player here in QC are using MEtal tech... I have never experienced myself a BB jam or anyone from my team.

I have seen Misfeed in highly upgraded AEG over 400 FPS / Mostly Bolt Action.

Don't forget that Metal tech is one of the Bigest BB, so too tight inner barrel who are dirty may cause jam.

I have sold over maybe 300 + bag in the past, and have seen myself maybe 10-12 bb jams, in 400 + fps airsoft gun.

Almost all bb brand have some problem at one time.

Metal tech, BB bastard and airsoft elite are still my favorites.

Metal tech

Yup I having been using Metal tech since they started never had a jam, pretty much all the players in our area use them and never had an issue, that was a result of the bb. Dirty weapons, bad mags torn hop-up etc, but not the bb.

But having said that I traded for BB bastards so I could try them out had no problems with them either.
