Many WW2 guns were transformed for video games. Thompson -> Alien Pulse rifle, the starwars blasters, the MG34 in another movie I forgot the title, etc. |
The mg34 was also the stormtrooper rifle in StarWars. Hans Solo used a modified C96 for his blaster.
The 'Smart gun' (Big shoulder mounted MG in Aliens) was a modified MG42. |
