Or you can get one of the TROY ones,just slides on. I'v been using one for years with no prob. They can be a bit hard to find.

Tactical Link makes one that slides onto the buffer tube as well I'm currently using it and love it

I use .25 & .28 BB bastard they feed flawlessly through my mags, Oh just in case you broke your very flimsy boltstop switch don't worry about it the gun will still run.

This is the very latest modulation to the TW5, along with the Sure Fire set up I have a RIS and a MP5 specific QD silencer from madbull that can be swapped in seconds. As for optics I have a real Aimpoint T1 enroute as for now the King Arms aimpoint and docter sight is doing their job well.

order it from double tap? make sure get the motor mods, some extra mags and the black cylinder. if you have any question drop by TTAC on Friday

K so AEG stock into PTW stock;
G&P marine stock has a similar receiver end to an M16 full stock, so no modification was necessary to run wiring into the "buffer stub"
I used a systema full stock buffer stub, turned it down (hobby lathe FTW), shaved the face of the marine stock, straightened it out and drilled/tapped/countersunk a 1/4" screw into the top of the buffer tube to prevent the stock from rotating.

Mounted the board in "backwards" so all the wiring is on one end, just makes it cleaner in there. Still don't have my batteries yet....

And here's the nearly finished UNPAINTED product complete with the "locomotive" elcan specterDR 4x red dot. Still gotta mod and mount my MOE grip
The reason for the tan stock, is because they were out of black, and because it's a high wear area, I'd rather have it fade to FDE than black.
Also if you guys look up pictures, it looks distinctly khaki, but it's actually a very convincing flat dark earth.

Goddamn I'm posting a lot in here lol

Also did a water resistance mod

Used lube-master electra coat, it's a spray that sets into a plastic film, fairly easy to work with after, and has pretty good control over thickness of the film. Specifically meant for water proofing electronic components, battery terminals, boards, and the like.
Didn't spray the buffer tube board as I'm going to seal off the stock instead of the board. I hear they're more prone to overheating when sealed, and it's pretty easy to seal off my stock.

And yes, the gun works fine right now lol

final product, cut around the trigger switch with an exacto and just peeled the coating up. Comes off like scotch tape
