In semi SOMETIMES it shoots about 6 shots (each shot weaker than the last) then locks. After I cock it again it will shoot, the first shot will be strong then the rest weaker kind of like when it cycles it doesn't collect more gas, only when I pull the cocking handle does it have a strong shot. Sometimes it will only shoot 1 shoot per cocking in semi.
Also I can feel a spring vibrating when the gun locks.
Any clues?:banghead:

I noticed the same thing yesterday when I was playing. However, It seemed to go away once I gave the buffer tube one more full rotation into the receiver.

I have the same problem. I shoot about 3 to 4 shot in full auto and after the gun jam. In semi If I shoot around 6 shots very fast it does the same thing. I was wondering if it's the Craddle velocity reducer the problem. I didn't try it stock since I got it.

Screw the buffer tube endcap as tightly as possible; the gun seems to have problems if you don't.

What part number is that? I tightened part 52 but it didn't fix the problem. My buffer tube its self (EDIT part 50) doesn't seem to twist either way. Is it a "righty-tighty" thread?

If we are all having the same problem it probably isn't the velo reducer because I haven't installed mine yet. The only inner I installed so far is the RAtech red pistol head. I doubt that has anything to do with it.

Parts list on page 12-15 http://www.kjworks.com.tw/photo/12918985443.pdf

UPDATE: The exact symptoms are the bolt carrier stops working after the first shot and doesn't slide. If a BB does shoot out on the 2nd and 3rd shot it's from the remaining gas in, I think, the receiver. Same problem in semi and full.

UPDATE 2: My gun fires fine if I turn it on either side. I'm starting to think it's probably an issue with friction on the inner parts of my lower receiver/trigger.

Should I buy some silicon spray and give those parts a spray?

P.S. Having a clear lower right now is priceless :D

I put silicone after each games. I clean it and I spray every parts moving. They all move softly. I doubt it' is the problem.
I just notice my buffer tube is sligtly unscrewed. I will try to tighten it....

Generally you shouldn't use silicone that come in a spray can.

Hey guys, anyone knows of a place in Canada that stocks the RA Tech blue hop up rubber? Mine seems to lose it's accuracy so I'll be upgrading !

I'll get the bottle kind from Alberta airsoft in that case. What's the difference?

If your brass buffer tube isn't stuck in your receiver, tighten it a few rotations and make sure the cap is on as tight as possible. It fixed mine

beanie July 4th, 2011 03:37

I got my gun working . I tightened my buffer end cap very tight but it didn't solve it. I took apart my barrel, my robber hop up was slightly misaligned. I realigned it and gave my delta ring a good tighten. (I didnt know you could slide BOTH gas pipe holes in the delta ring.) Now she works good as new.

Spray kinds usually are powered by petroleum distillates, which are bad for plastic. I use silicone shock oil from an RC store; it costs very little and is pure silicone oil.

Anyone transfer the trigger and selector group from one body to the other on a kjw? If so have any tips. I will be stuck with this task when my body arrives.

Saberwing July 4th, 2011 15:53

I've done it. Just take pictures and have an exploded view diagram handy.

What size of innertube do we need to buy?

I just took a random tube from a bike store, and it worked. Mine was about 1.5" in diameter.
