NO! No Police Officers/Cops play airsoft... and they also don't go to the washroom, they hold it in till they're 60 and just explode.:D

I can't beleive the intellect of some of the posts... Who could actually think a transformer would be invited to play... Hello... they keep trying to use "hot" guns and forever not calling their hits!:D

Ok, so just to cover my own ass, What i posted was actually from 2 guys i know very well who both are RCMP. And as others have said, Its not illegal for officers to play, but they generally keep it on the DL

I agree with transformers airsoft, they cheat far too much. Example, one time I was running along a ridge and saw him juuuust above the tree-line. Sucker gets hit about 4 times and just looks at me, and says, "No way joze."

I mean, c'mon.

Don't even get me started on gundam's...

one of the guys who's a field marshall for our club, is an RCMP officer.

I've heard there are a few that play too. Although if I was one, I wouldn't broadcast it here publically. Thats the kinda thing those guys like to keep guarded. Not everyone loves the po-po. Probably the same reason they post a sign on their front lawns saying "Police live here...stop in and bother me with stupid issues and questions"

I'd like to know if there are any beer reps who play...more specifically beer truck drivers and how many cases they can write off as "broken in transit" HAHA

Peel police are a bunch of jerks

Too many misconceptions here. Police Officers are not soldiers, and airsoft is not paintball, so all that crap can be pushed aside as is. The issue is POLICE playing AIRSOFT, thats it.

Its considered Conduct Unbecoming of an Officer. its on the same level as an officer getting piss drunk in public and can result in job-loss just as fast. Its perfectly LEGAL for them to play, but thats not the same as being Allowed to play. Just like its LEGAL to get a tongue piercing, but not all jobs allow that on their employees.

after speaking with a few members of the force who had to leave airsoft because of this, it appeared that the likelyhood of losing your job from the sport is quite small, but if they ever wanted a reason to fire you, (say you piss off the wrong person), well, you can figure out the rest im sure.
