Thanks Delarosa. I contacted T_hum on Arnies thread who runs Cradle Airsoft and they're still doing custom barrels for:
6.03 x 250mm - $50
6.01 x 250mm - $60
They're shipping to Canada is also $20. Should I go for 6.01 or 6.03?

I think it depends, 6.01 will result in higher fps than 6.03 though. Not sure bout accuracy, diff people seems to have diff opinion, I always go for the 6.01 for the extra fps but I never try 6.03 myself. You wont go wrong on either two I guess.

So now I'm down to the EDGI or Cradle, I'll see how much it comes down to price.

What I did with my hop-up is fold up a small section of paper and put it on the hopup rubber. It seems to be holding up so far.

So you glue it on then?

Btw, why dont you get the 363mm barrel instead of 250mm, I think its better and it fits on the regular length m4 too, or you changed yours to the cqb one?

Does anyone know if Magpuls fit on KJW magazines?

McCrea November 11th, 2011 16:07

yeah they fit, very tightly. I've been gaming mine with Magpuls all summer

audi_bhoy November 11th, 2011 19:29

I've ran a 6.01 barrel last summer and until my hop up system messes up it would shoot like a laser.

This is why I can't run 363mm lol.

I didn't glue it on, I just sorta placed it there. We'll see if it holds.

My gun externals currently:
Madbull Daniel Defense 10.3" outer barrel
Madbull Daniel Defense 9.5" RIS II
MAGPUL BUIS
Action PEQ-15
KAC QD Silencer
ACOG RDS

Hehehe, I was wondering if anybody would notice it. It's just a high cap shell I put in to see how it looks. Still waiting on the STANAG magazines...

Haha, thanks man. Just gotta do up the internals now so it performs as well as it looks. Already got the V2 bolt and CVA. just gotta do hop-up and inner barrel

Nice, the V2 is a good one, although Im not sure how it turns out in terms of durability, I actually got a far better fps output out of it than the V1, its very consistent from shot to shot with maybe a difference of 5-10 fps per shot(fast tap or slow tap), never look back since(unless something happen later lol). Im still saving the V1 bolt to put in velocity adjuster from cradle for a game with fps under 400, but havent instal it till now, we'll see later on I guess if Im not lazy hahahaha. Are you gonna use after market hop up rubber or do the TDC thing? I use shrink wrap, while its better than nothing its still not quite satisfying. Cant do TDC since I got no tools to do it.

Yeah, reading the thread on Arnies, people are split between the V1 and V2. The V1 is more durable, but the V2 performs better. We'll see how they do though. I'm liking my V2 so far, but I haven't gamed it yet.

Going to go with an aftermarket hop-up rubber for now and see if I can modify the arm of the rubber or something for better contact. I'll do the TDC if I absolutely have to though.

Oh, you might want to check it out, my friends said the V1 definitely sounds louder than the V2 in a game, but I never notice it, in a room, V2 defo louder, not sure outdoor though. Sounds in KJW have always been a great factor for me owning it, maybe you also want to check it out. Are you getting the RAtech ones or the falcon ones for the rubber?
