I just swapped out my v2 with my v1 bolt carrier ()Iwanted to install my velocity reducer) and its not catching in near where the hopup is like it needs to. I can't figure out how to make it catch. Any ideas?

For the price of that Cradle BCG I could buy 4 V2s...

Yes but what's the point of buying a product that doesn't work?

I'll definitely be checking out the Cradle BCG, as they don't make regular V1 bolts anymore...

Unfortunately I was more looking for a V1 replacement instead of anything else... I guess I'm busted haha ! There must be something wrong with my V2 BC as it doesn't cycle as it should... I'll try someone else's V2 when I get the chance, just to make sure it ain't my other internals that aren't V2 compatible lol..

Saberwing October 16th, 2012 16:46

My V2 still cycles fine, haven't had any issues with it so far, so I'll be holding off until I need to

audi_bhoy October 16th, 2012 17:42

Mine never got to work. it does double shoot and doesn't reset the hammer, regardless semi and full. I wonder if it's because I messed the V2 spring and took the one off the V1, which seems a bit long and pushes the nozzle outward about 1/16inch instead of keeping it tight...

Rommen October 16th, 2012 18:00

Does anyone else have one or more of these issues with their V2 bolt?

-Can't empty mag on full auto
-Inconsistent ROF on full auto (bogs down as you hold trigger) might be cooldown related, but it never happened with V1
-Nozzle gets stuck in a forward position on last shot. The bolt carrier locks in its rearward position, but the nozzle is still almost all of the way forward, as if the nozzle return spring isn't strong enough. Does not happen every mag. Unsure of whether or not it actually affects functionality.
-Bolt lock impossible to release. To release bolt, you MUST pull on the charging handle (ride it back slightly and the bolt lock releases). Does not happen every mag.

As you can see by my descriptions these problems are temperamental, but extremely annoying - almost to the point of being ungameable between them all. I have all the V2 parts installed (bolt, bolt lock, buffer) as well as the RATech hop up rubber.

I loved this gun with V1, my V2 makes it suck shit.. hopefully the Cradle carrier will solve these problems.

is there any chance we can order a version 1 bolt carrier?

Upon taking apart my bolt today, I discovered that the nozzle return spring was broken. This v2 bolt has given me nothing but issues and I'm starting to consider Cradle Airsoft's replacement bolt, as expensive as it is. The only thing is I can't find a review for it anywhere. Has anyone seen a review they could link or better yet personal experience with the bolt? Just want to see what other people think before I shell out 140$ on a bolt.

It says it is available now on their website http://www.cradleairsoft.com/shop/v1bcg

I haven't been following this whole thread, so I'm curious if your GBBR was initially V1 and then you put V2 bolt or was your rifle V2 originally?

My rifle was initially V1 and worked great. But one day the V1 bolt broke, had the front 'tab' under the nozzle snap off (there's pics of it on here somewhere). So I upgraded to the V2 bolt, bolt catch and buffer. It gave me problems right from the start and has never worked properly for me.

Mine was V1 too and V2 never worked properly on mine neither... Went back to V1 and glued the cracks in the plastic nozzle...

I use the one KJW supplied. Works fine.
