there was a thread on how to remove this screw on this exact same gun, forgot the title of the thread tho, the guy had bought it from Mopic IIRC

theguy July 8th, 2008 16:52

hmm, well if you find that thread that would be helpfull, i think i will drill it out, any ideas on a bit size? like just a 1.5?

Syn July 8th, 2008 17:00

Turn the hider clockwise a bit to loosen it then try unscrewing the tiny hex screw.

rexdlu July 8th, 2008 17:03

clockwise looking AT IT OR AWAY FROM IT?

Syn July 8th, 2008 17:06

clockwise when looking at the gun fro the front. It tightens CCW when looking from front. Try 1/8 of a turn if possible then try to take the hex screw out with the tiny allen key.

C.G July 8th, 2008 18:12

you know the rule, lefty loosie righty tighty?
the flash hider is threaded on anticlockwise, turn it the opposite way you'd normally turn a screw to get it out, it's not glued down with adhesive, I had no issues getting mine off. The grub screw/ socket set screw that's in there can be a bit of a buggar but it should come out (gurb screws in normally, the flash hider unscrews the opposite.. )

rexdlu July 8th, 2008 18:25

Mine was glued down when I first got my JG. Also read somewhere some ARE glued...I think it was in the classifieds section.

theguy July 8th, 2008 18:35

Before i can get it off i have to deal with the hex screw, i think that might have gotten glued in...no matter what I do, it won't budge...I think i will drill it...

jesster202 July 8th, 2008 22:53

well try a higer quilty set of hex keys as you dont want to strip the thing and u might have that problem but you might also be getitng the drection wrong lol anyways good luck

If he got it from buyairsoft.ca then why did it have blaze orange paint on the tip? isnt that an american law?

theguy July 14th, 2008 13:12

wow, bigger clip? thats not really an issue, just buy several, and bigger battery? larges mean a full stock (usually) witch many people (including myself) don't like, buying a second small battery and swictching isn't that big of a deal...

yea it is, but buyairsoft imported the gun from the US, therefore it has to comply with all the american laws aswell, once you get it your welcome to take it off/paint it...

JG G36c's are so damn accurate and has good groupings even @ stock bore barrel. JG did a very good job in cloning the Japanese version. JG's also have strong piston bodies, and better stock gears then TM's stock XYT gears (my friend stripped his XYT sector gear while mine is still running well usnig PDI 190 spring powered by a 11.1v lipoly).
