Did they fix the internal problem with the SCAR? I saw a lot of them stripping gear, busting motor and fractured tapet plate.

Not a twinge from mine, and no chatter on Arnies about those problems that I can recall. What flavor of SCAR are we talking about, Star, CA, VFC?

I'll have to ask the 3-4 guys I saw with them at games.

Seemed like a lot of Stars with EGLMs in your end this spring (at least in the classifieds here).

Star was nice because you could change the mainspring without cracking the mechbox, but I don't think the feel and finish was as nice as VFC.

Handled the STAR SCAR L w/EGLM at Juggz'. Wow, kinda makes me forget about PTWs, and STAR 36Ks.... Awesome build quality.

I ALMOST had the chance to buy a CA SCAR..... :( ugh.

Its the Star scar, not the VFC one. Launcher came with the gun.

Its a beast of a gun, Great build, great quality, finish is nice but I haven't seen the VFC scar in person so I can't compare.

I don't know if the airsoft versions are compatible, but I read somewhere that the EGLM was actually designed for M4's or Mk.18's. I'll see if I can find the source for that if anyone wants.

Only ever handled the CA, but its an amazing gun... Solid and looks amazing.

I want the EGLM so bad though... it looks so cool.
