it is the shells- I have had a UTG, and now use a DE; and we have several UTG, DE TM and Crosman shottys in use at our field and all of them do it; in fact getting 4-8 BBs is so common with new UTG shells we disparagingly call it a 'UTG special' as though you get more BBs they only fly half as far which is usually no where near where you were aiming :p

Most of my new shells stopped doing it after I left them fully loaded for a week but it still happens off and on. If you look at the breakdown for these 3 BB shottys you can see the mechanism that is supposed to 'prevent' more than 3 BBs from loading but nearly every shotty I have seen has done it at least once and if you search enough forums you can see that even TM shells can have the problem (and that currently there is no fixed solution as everyone seems to need to do something different to fix the issue)

Until you try it with 0.28g BBs, then the only laughs involved will be you laughing at guys running AEGs since you'll likely outrange them with a '3 round burst' from a clearsoft gun. ;)

Do they go on sale Canada wide? I just noticed that my local crappy tire carries them, but last week they were still $120

Ayashifx55 November 29th, 2009 17:24

only canadian tires give sometimes rebates. The other are not related to the rebates therefore keeping their prices.

Sorry... I'm not sure if you misread my post, I know every other non-canadian tire retailer doesn't follow the sale, I meant does EVERY Canadian tire Canada wide follow suit and lower the price?

Pardon me if I'm wrong, but I thought everyone here hated crap-soft...

Conker November 29th, 2009 17:38

Yeah, but that shotgun is a TM clone. It's not highgrade, but still has its purpose and has quite some range.

The s34p is kind of like an exception. for the price it is its pretty fun and decent.

Shrapnel[Op-For] November 29th, 2009 17:40

Nevermind, answered my own question... online says there on sale, and they are in stock... thanks for the heads up notec!!

Only relates to two things: 1/ Kids having them bought for them and playing in suburban backyards, and the cops getting involved; 2/ Noobs thinking they are the 1337 guns and expecting to do well at games with guys how have TM and othher high end guns.

Granted, most of the Crosman guns are crap, the shotty we're talking about here is a total jem for what you get. And I just picked up the C11 CO2 pistol about to head to the garage to test it out, I figured what the hell, I'll get one. Now, a vet used to normal high end AEGs and wanting more of a challenge by 'undergunning' himself just makes him look more bad ass on the field. A noob showing up with 'Soft Air' and being all "I rock at *such and such a video game*" just end up looking like douches.

The c11's usually go on sale for like half price. for 50 bucks i think they are worth it its surprisingly pretty good. obviously not compared to a tm or ksc but for 50 bucks if you get it on sale you cant go wrong.

Drakker November 29th, 2009 18:36

If you are going to buy a crapsoft pistol... wouldn't you bet better off with one of these?

At least, you can get extra mags for them.
