A possible substitue to multicam?

Personally, I'm really not a fan of multicam but I do have to admit....it works REALLY well. But than again, digital camo works really well in their designed environments and I don't like those either, but whatever floats your boat I guess!

Anyways I think I've managed to find a camo that could perform well in numerous environments (woodland, desert, etc); not as well as multicam perhaps but maybe good enough. Here it is......

I give you safariflage!!! Personally, I love it and would love to test it or see pictures of it in the field. The problem is, it seems relatively rare and hard to come by. Although if I do manage to come by a set, I will be sure to buy it. Gotta hand it to those Brits! Awesome dpm camo for varied environments, excellent main battle rifle, an awesome main battle tank, and some of the best trained troops in the world.

Please fell free to tell me what you think!

ugly.

Amos September 22nd, 2010 15:13

Lol

Don't think that would work well.

Multicam works because there's blending in the shades.. That's just a HUGE amount of contrast.

Safaraiflage actually, a various of DPM.

And I don' think the pattern is ugly at all, I really like it for some odd reason. I would still like to see some pics of it in the field though, which I'm having a lot of trouble finding.

Liking it is one thing. Working well in multiple environments is another, which would be the killer for that particular pattern.

You are more than welcome to wear it. Don't take me saying it is ugly as a reason not to. But do take pics and let us know how well it helped in camouflaging you into your surroundings.

Where we play you have pretty much two options when you want to blend in.

Either blend into the concrete and gravel, Or blend into the tree's. That really wouldn't help you with either because it's way to sharp and contrasted. Get some basic stuff and come up with us and see what works and doesn't and then make a choice, If you really want to get something different that will still work check out the russian stuff or flecktarn.
