damn.... that looks sexy!!!! :D
Jealous!
thx! ^^
nice for the price! I'm working on an M21 project, does it come with a bipod mount/sling point?
It's the exact same thing as the polymere stock, if I understand correctly, it comes with the front sling and metal bracket at the front. I didn't know you could install a bi-pod?
what kind of wood is it? how solid is it? also, do you think it could be modified to fit a TM M14?

However since these are pretty close to the real stock (as in the stock being completely solid at the grip) you could mod it to fit a TM as you would a real one... however because of the motor placement on the AEG m14's, you would need to hollow it out. Thus lowering the integrity of the stock. So in short, yes, you could... however you could also mod the real stock which is like, 25 bucks USD + shipping for the same result :) |
On their website they advertise two wood kit, one in Walnut and an other in "Ju". They don't specify wich wood is use for this one but it feel and look very solid. Sending them an e-mail "wood" answer this question!
Yeah that looks really nice....
As said before, there is 2 new Ra-Tech wood kits. One in Ju wood
http://en.ratech.com.tw/img/ra-agent.../hl/hl_002.jpg and one in Walnut http://en.ratech.com.tw/img/ra-agent.../hl/hl_001.jpg I know nothing about wood quality but for me both are cost prohibitive, Ju being at 207usd and Walnut at 350$ |
Oh snap... Walnut!!
I have hear good things about this gun and with that wood kit it makes it even more appealing
I've had a few of these things go through my hands... and I must say I was quite pleasantly surprised :)

That means "Oh wow" lol
Walnut is a VERY nice wood... Just look at that grain in it!! |
Ya, I see that it is very nice looking! Having a real semi auto 5 rounds M14 I would invest that money, 350$, without hesitation. But when you think of it, the walnut wood stock is almost the same price of a WE M14. It's like buying a 400$ LaRue tactical AR receiver at 400$ to put on a 350$ complete WE gun. But having a lot of money and not knowing where to throw it I would :)
still for sale?
Do you have just the one or do you sell wholesale? Definitely looking for a stock inside the borders (if you have anymore). Do you also happen to know if the wood stock helps at all with the rattle in the assembled gun? I have heard the ebr kit does help get rid of it, but my synthetic wood stock seems to be an imperfect fit.

The rattle I think you are talking about is the front sling mount, so putting a sling on it or taping it or removing it will help with that. |
Considering a USGI M14 stock either in Birch or Walnut can be found for less than 50$, that's kinda expensive.
You can fix the receiver movement by folding a bit of tape where the polymer stock got rounded. |

But yeah I know you can get M14 stocks cheaper and when I go walnut on the next M21 build it will likely be USGI. |
And you'll have that nice used look instantly :)

The Ju wood is actually Beech (Southern Elm) which is resistant to being permanently submerged in water apparently. |
