Price on scar's
I want to get a scar light, and just wondering the prices on them.
I think i want to get the VFC scar-l, so whats the price range? |
ne where from 400 to 430
|
Get age verified and you can check out the classifieds and retailer sections of the forum for yourself. If you're not 18, then you're out of luck. Sorry.

Surebet put a lot of time into this, the least you could do is read it:

Uh, not likely.
They're almost $400 in the US to begin with. |
I have to agree with Styrak on this one. I do know exactly what VFC's sell for at retail locations in Canada, but I'm not going to say to someone who's not Av'd, sorry.
If you want a VFC SCAR though, plan on spending more than the prices quoted above. |
From what I see of Canadian retail prices, yeah, significantly more than $400.
|
normal is in the $600 range

yes $400 is a low ball for a VFC. A buddy picked one up for $350 but it needed a bunch of work to get it going again.
Even in the states I have seen used VFC's around the $350 mark so here in Canada I would say more the $600 range then start adding from there depending on upgrades/accessories. I would def suggest getting AV'ed as you are 18+ and start looking in the classifieds. You might get a bit of a better deal around this time of year to. |
$620 and change usual retail rate
|
Yes, i am planning to get av'd this sat, so the classifieds will be looked at.
That being said, for around 500, what is the most relyable and durable one. I've seen some reviews, and people say each one has its own merits. Im not planning on upgrading it anytime soon, so its the stock i want to play with. |
For $500 you'll only be able to get a DBoys or Echo1.
|
WE ones are pretty cheap ;)
|
CA might slip in at that price if you are patient, but you should have plenty of options if you are willing to look into pre-owned.
Don't forget the rest, the gun is actually the last thing you want to buy for your starting gear. Read the second link in my sig for starting tips. |
WE SCAR about $460
VFC SCAR L $550-610 Anything else will likely be in the Buy and Sell section |
At $500 buy used. That's the only advice I can give you
I bought my first gun used off the classifieds (for $450) and it's a workhorse. Make sure that you either do a deal locally or the other person is reputable if not doing locally (preferably a good/reputable gundoc that people can vouch for). |

The VFC at that price stock is alright and it has the functional bolt stop. So does the ARES. But I doubt you'll get one for under $500.00 unless it's in the classifieds in the used section. Cheers, FACE |
Bought one about three months ago...tan VFC Scar-L for $585 plus, plus, plus (extra mags, extra battery etc. all not included in the original box)...nice build...came to something like mid-7ish with shipping and taxes.
