DIY 'Nade launcher
 

im going to be making a DIY nade launcher. progress will be posted here, but first i have a question: the madbull 40mm shells, are they 40mm or just fit in a 40mm tube? thanks guys. progress soon.

They fit in a 40 mm tube and are 37mm wide (madbull only) IIRC

ive seen it done with a caulking gun and pvc pipe

ha ah! dead on the nail iballBRODY! minus the caulking gun. this will have a proper trigger system and all ^_^. though the fact that they fit in a 40mm pipe is just what i wanted to hear! woot woot! stage 2 started. autoCAD time!

I got my M203 for cheap... works great looks REAL with Real Trades :P

well now, thanks for all the excellent links. fill my head with concepts it has. the autocad drawings are not done as school exams needed to be studied for. soon though..

yeah but god damned heavy too ! that one is lighter (the krispies one) and looks great too

if you had a CNC machine advailabe you could do it out of aluminiun, would be light, durable, and would look hell of a lot better than pvc

well then, with my computer in flames, my internet crapping out and 3d autocad not working, i have resorted to a really advanced graphics program. paint. her is my concept

That trigger is simular to what I had tried a while back. What is simpler, however, is to make the trigger a simple lever. Less moving parts is more, essentially.

I made a shotgun for those madbull shells a while back. I dont have photos of it, but I do have some 'technical drawings'.

Less moving parts, and a better means of delivering the 'force' required to shoot off a shell.

Simpler is Better tbh

*face palm* hh figures i overcomplicated it. actually this method can pull quite a hefty trigger pull.
