This is a D-Day themed WW2 sim, with pyro, explosions, pillboxes, landing craft, bunkers, trenches, and so much more! We will also be inviting the Military Vehicle Preservation Society to participate and set up a display.

I got my eye on this event. If I am out in Alberta this summer I will make this a MUST on things to do.

It doesn't fit, I've tried. haha.

It looks fun, but there are things in the required and restricted equipment that will hinder my attendance.

I'm going to try my best to get at least two other guys from out here to attend but I had a question:

For eye protection, is it paintball approved or ballistic? I saw ballistic on the site, but some fields require paintball only.

Paintball goggles would be fine as well, it IS at a paintball field I suppose :P.

Well I mainly can't come because of work, but the webbing issue poses a little problem. Kraut camo w/Thompson.

Well, if you do manage to get the time off, we won't turn you away for trying out a captured allied weapon in combat ;).

haha but do you guys have webbing that would hold my extra magazines and such? What if I was to wear German camo, and use an Allied musette bag or Thompson mag pouch?

Honestly, good enough. This is our first WW2 game around here, so we'd rather have people attend than have super strict kit requirements. Next year, they will be more strict. :)

I will most definitely see if I can get a crew of guys to go up there.
