Stolen airsoft

Hey everybody,

One of my friend's room mates has moved out and stolen some of his property, including his KJW MEU (Cansoft) and his Jericho. He thinks he may try to sell them on the classifieds or Kijiji.
His username on these boards is Cirabeau, real name is Ryan Wen.
If anybody comes across any information, please let me know.

Thank you

Where was this?

Is he also in London at Western?

I'll keep an eye open man, serious drag.

Saberwing February 4th, 2011 17:47

He used to live in St. Thomas, we're not sure where he is living now. He had a wanted thread for a metal frame for the MEU that was posted back in November, on February 2nd he edited it saying the MEU was for sale, but I don't see a sale thread yet.

DEATH2000 February 4th, 2011 18:40

Does he have any pics of the stolen items for identification purposes? Any identifying marks or engravings?

I had $2,000 worth of guns stolen from me a few years back so i know how much that sucks. Always mark your stuff! An engraving with a permanent ID number is always a good idea. By ID # i meant like your old school ID # or something. Pick a number that belongs to you and only you that wont change. Your SIN # isnt the best idea. Hide it somewhere hard to find like inside the mag well or inside the reciever itself that way if it ever is found, you have a way to properly identify your stuff.

Double Tapper February 4th, 2011 22:23

Quick, check the replica registry, maybe he transfered them into
his name:rolleyes:

Double Tapper February 4th, 2011 22:25

I wish you all the luck to get your stuff back.;)

FACE February 4th, 2011 22:46

I doubt he'll be able to sell it on Kijiji. They don't allow sales of airsoft or airguns for that matter. just paintball guns. Your best bet is to keep an eye out on ebay or craigslist. Is there any pawn shops near by that might be into buying that kind of stuff? Or he might be reaching out to people in the wanted section of the ASC classifieds.

Unless he sees this thread...

FOX_111 February 4th, 2011 23:27

Don't tell me your friend did not report this to the police.

He know the guy, they could catch him in less than 24h.

Szevin February 5th, 2011 02:03

Weak. I could only imagine how upset id be if some swiped my gear. I'd probably go get drunk... And maybe cry a little. I hope he gets his stuff back and justice is served!

Yep, sold yourself out right there, it would have been as simple as someone sending him a pm offering a glock to trade for "his" 1911 and you and some friends showing up to "complete the trade" heheh

that's because you're a pushover and deserve to get robbed for your stuff if you'd do nothing about it

check with police, it is theft.

Metalsynth February 5th, 2011 12:42

Put the cops on his ass.

coach February 5th, 2011 13:13

he was online this morning but hasn't posted since november.

Rugger_can February 5th, 2011 13:33

Sounds like there's more to this story then we know. Call the local police and report. Any notions you might have about vigilante justice are silly.

Gunk February 5th, 2011 14:05

This speaks volumes about the guys character.

Now that guy (with the shitty character) is running amok with toy guns.

Who knows what he's capable of trying next?

Call the police.

RIVAWILD June 25th, 2011 22:15

WTF!!! This guy tried to join our group in Feb and was rejected because we considered him dangerous to the sport. Recently, he was busted for smuggling airsoft guns of all kinds from the US...

Yes they do.

This is theft & possession of stolen goods under $5000. Sic the cops on him. You have a name & account ID. The stolen items can be identified of the victim. Internal upgrades, if any, can be used to confirm identification of the items. It may come down to word-vs-word, but there is a high likelihood that witnesses will be able to affirm the victim's charges.

For inscribing IDs, a driver's license inside the receiver is a good idea to help identify items. The police have ready access to this information when recovering stolen goods.

Good luck with this.

Hectic June 26th, 2011 14:18

KEEL HIM!!!
No wait this is Canada that wont work.
Oh ya call cops!! Theft, possesion of a `firearm` i mean depending on how he is using it transporting it ect.... but I`d bet the cops would love to at least get yer `guns`off the street and out of an obviously `criminal`type of persons hands, not sure if u could prove they are yours and get em back, but he will have some big headaches for sure
