Age verification activation
 

How long does it take get activated one the age verification has been submitted? I've been waiting for 3 weeks to be activated. I understand the need for age verification but if there's nobody to regularly update the system and monitor it what's the use of it?

Please double check with your verifier to ensure the information was submitted. If it was then your verification will be updated with the next batch.

3 weeks is a bit long. You should contact the person you met just to make sure they've submitted the info to the admins/site staff (and have done so properly).

Usually it will take less than 2 weeks.

The last batch of updates I did was in the last week of January: 10 days - 2 weeks is within the normally accepted delay. Sometimes it gets done more frequently, but the past week's been busy dealing with my truck repaired and the insurance company; mine and the rest of the staff's lives always takes priority to the volunteer effort we make here.

Hey drake, when you say last week of Jan, do you recall what day it was?
Just curious to see if mine would have been too late for that batch (Jan 27)

For whatever reason that this do not pan out, there is a verification in richmond hill ont he 13th. Do a search.

It is cumbersome but necessary. I just hope the listing in the classifieds are worth the wait :)

My age verifier was sushicake I got age verified on the 23rd of January. I PM'd him a week ago about the delay he said:

Good luck and have fun, also take a pander thorough the classifieds and the AV only section, there's reviews and random banter plus some other cool info.

Also don't be quick to buy the first thing you see. Take a look at what others are offering and keep in mind the price range you're willing to spend. I'm not saying you need to buy a $4000 PTW or a $100 "parts gun" but figure out a budget that won't break the bank and go from there. Also don't forget other gear, namely BDU's (can be purchased from surplus store), eyepro, and other accessories. So lets say $450 for a gun and a few mags/accessories and $200 for eyepro, smartcharger, and other clothing/gear giving you a $650 budget to shop around with to get completely kitted out for your first game).

Hey lleets! Welcome aboard. If your AV info gets passed along by the verifier tomorrow, you should be looking at a week or maybe two, from the sounds of things.

I hear Drake also accepts what he calls a "One Time Process Hastening Fee", payable by EMT, Paypal, or DD. Straight-across trades for first-born children may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

it takes anywhere from 1 day to a month, the AV's are done in batches.
contact the person who verified you to double check that all information is correct. and then just wait. i noticed recently the AV's are going through faster.

Thanks, I also here there is an AV meet this weekend. Would that be processed more quickly? Not in any rush but as they say "the grass is always greener" right!

the AV meet is with a verifier same as usual except that there will be more new players and more vetran players its a meet and greet sort of deal

In the same situation as the OP was, got verified 3+ ago at the Toronto Airsoft Convention. No reply from my AV'er Scarecrow after PMing him; I know he's probably too busy or something and I totally understand. But since it normally only takes 1-2 weeks for the AV to get activated, I just wanna know what's up.
