Possible ASC has malware/virus?
 

Last two times I have been on ASC in the last 15 minutes I have had pop ups try to open and my anti-virus kills em. Is it possible that ASC has some malware?

More possible that you do. I told you to use Youporn instead of those sketchy download sites.

Yeah, downloading is bad.....stream that shit. I got no pop-ups.

I use lemonparty.org. Great quality.

Ran Spybot and Kaspersky, which found nothing. Maybe a false positive?

Have you got any stupid tool bars in your browser? Does it happen in any other browsers?

Havn't tried another browser, but it happened two times I went to ASC with Explorer, has not happened since though.

Nope nothing dings me on this forum, but there is a certain forum in Ontario, that Kaspersky finds Malware on every visit.

Ok will chalk it up to unicorns and gremlins fucking about with my computer, seeing as it has a clean bill of health.

I'd say it's just detecting something in the pages code that looks vaguely like spyware. Obviously not though, Some anti viruses and such pickup pretty much anything with the words "download, butsechs, illeagle and awesome" up as a bad website.

No, your infected if your getting popups. ASC doesn't have advertising popups as far as I have seen.

Get anti viruses(not ones these popups may be advertising), run them in safe mode. Don't do any online shopping.

I was getting these warning from ASC and a couple other forums, and turned out I had some infections that are now gone.

Used malware bytes, works wondefully!

Been running it since... I can remember. Never had any problem since.

I love Malwarebytes, that and believe it or not, Microsoft Security Essentials pretty darned good.

yes it infected my pc almost 2 weeks ago i reported to admins not 1 person emailed me back, the forum security should be #1, i even emailed 2 times and never gotten a response back even pmed an admin i had to reformat my pc now my pc is cleaned fresh.
