ordering from x fire

I'm planning in ordering around 400-500 dollars of parts for my rifle from xfire. I was just wondering `how much the import cost ? also if anyone has had problems receiving orders and what their customer service is like.

keep in mind that its being sent to canada not the U.S

Please read the FAQ before you waste your money.

Gunny_McSmith May 22nd, 2011 13:10

what do you mean by ''import cost''?

L473ncy May 22nd, 2011 13:49

I assume you mean taxes and duties?

Ok I have looked at this al ready, I don't see any issues unless I completely missed something . All it talks about is how u can't import airsoft guns . As if I did not know that I'm just talking about parts I no their all legal in canada but I'm just hesitant from ordering from japan.

The one you probably want is:

"CBSA: Importations and Collection of Duty 101"

Am I becoming like T7? Are my posts invisible or something?

I did a few weeks back my first order from X Fire to upgrade my VSR 10 amd I have nothing but positive comments about their customer service. They had forgotten to ship a part that I had purchased and I received the missing parts 5 days after I had signaled that it had not been shipped.

?? Biovals are great.

Not sure about their .4's, I use bastards, but their .3's are great.

What is it with biovals? Every comment about them is that they are awful or amazing.

the man behind the rifle June 3rd, 2011 08:18

sometimes people blame the bb's first instead of their lack of adjustment to their hop or scope? I still have some SGMs left but they have no energy behind them at all after around 220 feet and im looking to get much farther. i'm also not getting the .4 im almost positive their re branded madbulls with there signature air pocket off centre as normal

Bastard .4's? Their definitely not rebranded madbulls... If you can, go the heaviest your hopup will allow, there's a huge difference between .3's and .4's, and you can get more range out of the .4's if you compensate with your hopup... and the consistency/resistance to wind is 10x better. .4's really tend to carry energy quite far, I can get them out to almost 300 feet and still have enough energy to almost punch through a cardboard box. Chronoing at 415 fps (with .2's) While I can only get .3's out to about 200 feet consistently, and they still don't have enough power to even put a dent in anything, now imagine players calling hits...

going for 250 and the rare 300ft shots anyone thinks thats possible with this setup or is their anythig i should add?

How did you come to this conclusion?

For your own education, Bastards are produced by a board member here, who researched the manufacturing process and spent a fuckton of money on R&D to develop a superior product and bring it to market for this community. That individual is a senior member of this community, a significant site supporter, and a good friend of mine.

So please refrain from talking out of your ass.

Biovals are well biodegradable so they break down. If you get a drop of water on the BB it starts to break down and warps and becomes gummy. I have also heard of them leaving a lot of gunk in the inner barrel when you run a lot through your gun. They are suppose to be getting better. And yes most people either love or hate him. I personally will only run bios if I have to (a lot of field require you to use them).

Back on topic. No I dont recommend X-fire. Really sucks not to be able to shop there. Ordered parts. Took 3 weeks for them to get back with a quote. Took another 2 weeks for shipping out. Almost 3 weeks to actually get to me. They are the reason Im ripping out all the PDI i have and going Laylax. Not impressed with their communication or anything else for that matter.

For the record they are extremely polite, just extremely useless as well.

the man behind the rifle June 16th, 2011 18:35

well i guess everyone has had different expireince when it comes to x-fire a lot of people say the orders got to them fast. one thing I noticed is that when its a small order stores generally wait till they can ship mutiple orders at once ? (thats just my opinion) exept ASGI that is the only store with the best customer service and shiping. but back to topic as you say, i will order the parts and see what happends. their really is not too many rifles availible in canada that can be upgraded to the max soo x-fire is my only option and there parts are dam good.
