Thank guys ! :P

Never heard of them.

Bastards still get my vote for best airsoft BB. I had good luck with KSC Perfect as well. Not a fan of Gaurder or Mad Bull BBs.

After shipping they work out to almost $10 more than 2 bags of Bastards (for same amount of BBs), so they better be really good.

In 6mmstore the shipping is 20$ flat rate (canada) or free for a purchase of 100$+

For one bag thats more than Pyramidair's shipping.

I suppose you could buy 8 bags and get free shipping  (and hope they don't suck, cuz thats what you'll be shooting for the next 2-3 years)

Seems like a heck of a gamble just to save $5. If you have to penny-pinch, airsoft is not the hobby for you.

Bastards are probably the best out there, or at the very least the best for their price. Hands down, no contest. And this is generally agreed by the majority of airsoft players in Canada.

After a year of airsoft i know if it's or not a hobby for me. But thank for the "advice".
I have few hi-cap mag and I usually fire a lot of bb. 25$ per bag, with time it begin to be a little annoying. In addition of the mass of gear i bought recently. Cut the price in half and you have these bb.
I'll have some Javelin .36g in a speedloader for the moment i need a lot precision, but for normal gameplay, i dont need a lot because i shot a lot. You're allowed to juge.

All i wanted to know is do YOU TRIED one of those or any other cybergun bbs. Even if the word Cybergun sound bad ^^

Thank!

You asked. We answered. Chill.

Drake January 20th, 2012 12:13

Wow, what are you paying $25 a bag for? Sounds like a ripoff.

kalnaren January 20th, 2012 12:21

You could stop rocking the tactical maracas too. Running hi-caps and bitching about going through too much ammo is kinda.... yeah...

Last time I paid $25/bag was for a 5,000 bag of KSCs from A&A like.. 5 years ago lol.

PrIeSt January 20th, 2012 19:52

Not sure where your buyin bbs. Bastards are 10-15 a bag..

You aren't going to get useful answers from Canadian players on US-sourced BBs. For better or worse we've mostly settled on Bastards, which are relatively competitive price wise and happen to be totally kickass. My biggest complaint is they don't come in bulk discount formats or the plastic bottle formats that seem to be becoming popular down south. Those are really minor complaints.

Forever_kaos January 20th, 2012 21:33

If you are finding the price of BB's expensive, shoot less?
4,000 last me 2-3 games, maybe more... And that's a skirmish where I shoot lots.

Get midcaps.
The mindset of "Oh shit, I may not have lots of ammo" really helps tune your trigger/ROF
Every shot, becomes a precious little guy just waiting for that special someone :)

If you are finding you "need" to spray and pray, upgrade your gun for better accuracy.

L473ncy January 20th, 2012 21:37

When I was in the UK I used Blaster Devil BB's... Those were pretty good IMO, no jamming and offered at a pretty decent price; 8 quid for 3000 ct of .25's.

Zero One BB's were also pretty good and fairly cheap at 10 quid for 5000 ct bag of 25's. I think these are likely Airsoft Elite rebrands but I can't confirm.

Green Devil Bio's are pretty good supposedly but I've never tried them. I think those are from Denmark or something.

No. Wouldn't trust them. Not even a single review on that link you provided. Where's a link to the review of 4/5?

I prefer to have mine brought to me at games I play. Almost every game I play has a field Bastard or is a Bastard sponsored event. There are tons of these games, I don't need to pay for shipping.

Javelin's suck been proven countless times in stock, custom built and upgraded guns. I cannot comment on how they work on clear soft as I don't personally know anyone who has one to test them in.

Why didn't you ask about trying these no name BB's in a cyber gun from the start if that "all you wanted to know"?

Sounds like you need a lot of BB's to hit your targets down range.

He's referring to this page:
http://www.6mmstore.com/burst-fire-2...t-bag/#reviews

3 reviews from random strangers on the internet, in a market context where kids buy airsoft gear and have no idea what's good or what's shit. Not exactly a vote of confidence in my book.

I'm also puzzled by the choice of retailer, any reason in particular you want to go with this one?

Anyway, numbers time!

http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/3972/66944599.png

In your quest to cheap out you forgot to figure in conversion, import duty and the fact that not only do most free shipping promotions exclude BBs, but from a US retailer they only apply to US orders.

Just so everyone is on the same page:
Column 1 is BB Bastards at the local rate
Column 2 is from bbbastard.com
Column 3 is from 6mmstore.com
Column 4 is the same, with values halved to better compare 4000 v 2000

So basically, you're saving a tenth of a cent per shot for your target figure. And you're getting unknown BBs.

Just buy Bastards.

EDIT: Oh, and /thread.

Where did you get $15? I sell them for $11 tax in.

Well this just proves I should get out more... :P

This pushes BB Bastards below the cost of the mystery BBs, making the choice even more obvious.

add your airfare to that and other cost for the trip, the result it's still cheaper to buy in town. $25 for bags of bbs are not expensive by airsoft in canada standard there were times where bags of 2500 count ksc bbs would sell for anywhere from $45 - $60 depending on the availability then it gradually over time went down to $25 - $20 and finally to present cost of $10-$11/bag

To the OP Cheapening out on bbs will only cost you more in the end, I played long enough to see it happen where peole destroy $1500-$2000 custom guns from cheap bbs

jflecool2 January 23rd, 2012 12:49

My god a lot of post i did'nt saw here !
Well, 6mmstore changed their shipping price (it was an "error") so the 13$ became like 20$. At 20$ i really should take Armist or Bastard instead !

Thank everybody :)
