painting my non clear gun
 

i want to take my non clear gun out side at my cabin on keats island but it looks so real its a black revolver and my mom says no i cant so i was thinkning what if i paint it a bright color like yellow or bright orange like the tip would then be i legally aloud to take it out and play with it. ps i live in canada

British Columbia seems to be the most trigger-happy province of them all when it comes to children with guns in public no matter what the color or opacity of the gun.

The answer is going to be "no"... very risky.

Here's what I know. When your mom says no, she means it. If you paint it she'll just say no again.

If you were to take a real revolver and paint it bright colours, would your mom still say no? Would it make it any less real?

Listen to your mother or move out!

shes starting to take my side since her boyfriend agrees that at my cabing where theres not many other people that they wouldnt freak because that island is like redneck paradise

just don't, even if you live in redneck paradise, there are still people that are not "redneck" and possibly consider themselves a "lefty" on the firearm political end of the spectrum, they see a gun and here come the fuzz

Why not ask these people about bylaws applicable to the discharge of uncontrolled firearms on Keats Island.

Start by learning how to spell and properly use the english language. Then listen to your mommy. Mom's are always right.

If it was your personal cabin then go for it but since it's your parents property you should probably abide by their rules.

I'm not going to lie, I know that people bring pellet guns and stuff to their cabins and cottages to shoot popcans and whatnot but it's really up to your mom if she'll allow that or not. Same goes with camping, you're not supposed to have alcohol in national/provincial parks but it still happens.

tl;dr No, not until you get a job and buy your own cabin.

Going to have to agree with the majority, Mommy says no, she means NO. Painting the tip isn't going to change anything, enjoy the cabin for what it is, theres no reason to bring your airsoft out there if shes saying no.
