Airsoft News - New products to be realeased

So I've thinking that this forum needs a thread in which to find out about new products coming up in the airsoft scene.
Anyway here is my contribution.

Quote:

Taiwan based airsoft manufacturer WE-Tech have revealed their forthcoming SCAR-L and M16A3 AEG replicas. The FN Herstal Mk 16 Mod 0 replica, set to enter mass production soon, will utilize a version 2 type gearbox while the safe, semi, and fully automatic M16A3 model, featuring the company's Katana split-gearbox system, will be released second.[1] No specific prices nor release dates have been disclosed for the two automatic electric gun replicas.

that is pretty awesome to see, i am interested in the Scar-L, hopefully the quality would be very good
but unfortunately, i have to hijack this for a few, SRC FN Five-SeveN, shooting 350 fps, finally a Five-SeveN that could be imported into Canada, readily
sorry for the highjack

Freeze March 24th, 2013 19:56

I believe EA has a custom clear framed FN Five Seven for sale. At one point I was going to get it but wasnt sure if it would successfully clear customs and stuff lol.

No it can't be read up on the import rules.

i did say could be, not will be, just got to some how push it up to 366 fps levels

Hectic March 24th, 2013 20:33

Extended tightbore and a silencer to hide it like TA did with the WE pistols

Sweet !

No, the whole point is to post the news here, sorta like the WW2 new releases thread that's been running on for a few years now.

I'm curious how the hell WE is gonna get the licensing sorted since there are already too many licensed cyber gun SCAR's on the market. We all know what happened to Echo 1 in shot show right? And to make matters worse cybergun has halted projects from WE before. Yes Im talking about the P90 gbb :/

I think they are okay so long as they dont put trademarks on the stuff (i could be wrong tho i guess just the likeness of the gun could be trademark infingememt but i doubt that based on how many airsoft guns are made and just named something like n4 instead of m4 and so on)

Swattiger March 24th, 2013 22:21

Thanks for sharing. But I am not too sure about WE's AEG given their higher than average rate of broken products, which are only after some brief use.

The video of their Samurai Barry Burton with a blow out rear part still haunting me quite badly, as it might hurt the user's face seriously.

I really do not understand why this manufacturer takes such a slow progress of improving the materials of their products. I prefer to pay more in exchange of safety.

redzaku March 29th, 2013 21:17

maybe in a year or less, a glock 34 and 35 is going to release and the company is WE tech

Off_kilter March 29th, 2013 21:43

Looks like I may switch back to TM style glocks :/

phloudernow March 29th, 2013 23:54

Hmm looks like WE is really trying to break it out into the AEG market :P Too bad that I'm a markings whore otherwise i would really love to pick a SCAR up. But I'm still looking forward to a Scar H :P

After watching GI Joe Retaliation I really want to buy a SCAR H :P just because it looks awesome :D

I'm not sure who to believe, on arms cool forum people said that the P90 had issue with the gas magazine. WE claim it to be Cyber gun problem...

The patent for P90 was expired AFAIK (it was patented in 90

Is that the video with idiot boy at the controls?

If it is, no offense to you but anything he's touched is fucked. You can set that worry aside till reports from a reliable source are presented.

Thanks for your comment. But I also read many negative reviews about WE's products from 2 biggest Asian airsoft websites , armscoolnet.com (Taiwan), wargameyau.com (Hong Kong). I own a few WE's pistols and GBBRs, and most of them have the problems as described in these forums.

One interesting thing is the RA tech's very speedy release of steel replacement parts for WE new guns, which sort of a good indication how "durable" the WE's guns are. This undoubtedly creates extra cost for budget buyers, and extra stress in fixing the problems for beginners.

I am too busy to DIY, so cannot afford to fix them all the time only after some brief use. I am sorry to say that WE is just not my cup of tea, no matter how attractive their price is.

It seems that RA Tech is always coming to the rescue for WE.

New item from Marui too... rumor is that it's ***removed***

SuperCriollo May 6th, 2013 16:06

Li Cheng Technique Business Company is allegedly poised to release its own airsoft replicas of the AS VAL and VSS Vintorez, according to a "coming soon" image on the Taiwan based airsoft manufacturer's website.[1] The stage of development, as well as specific material construction for the two AEGs, has not been disclosed, rendering any release date and price questionable. Following the abrupt disappearance of Zeta Lab in 2012, G&G and NPO AEG announced they would replicate the VSS Vintorez for airsoft use; however, to date, only the latter has released its product.

Lol I wouldn't be surprised if WE purposely makes their stuff out of crap materials and set up RaTech to make money on upgrade parts

This.

I'm pretty sure this is exactly what they do.

Then it totally defeats the budget buyers' purpose of buying an affordable and yet reasonable durable/playable gun.

SuperHog May 6th, 2013 21:59

Is RA Tech an primary company making upgrades for WE? It just seems that when a WE gun comes out and it has breaking issues, RA Tech comes to the rescue with steel parts that fixes it.

If they are separate companies, does WE feel stupid that a tiny aftermarket company in the same town is capitalizing on upgrades on their poor engineering? What if RA Tech stop making upgrades for WE?

Deadpool May 6th, 2013 22:05

Hmmm...I guess you guys never checked the rest of the Ra-tech website. They make parts for just about every GBBR. But I guess the size of WE's line-up versus the others eclypses that.

Aquamarine May 7th, 2013 01:23

For you CQB guys, the new items from TM are going to be VERY sexy and VERY agile with three versions coming out. They are sexy as hell and I can not WAIT to get my hands on them again.
-metal and plastic construction
-weighty and feels good in the hands, not like it'll break
-matte black finish, very appealing to the eye.

I'm a little gooey inside about them!

I would bet any money this is what Aqua was referring to... Actually hold that thought, the price for this beautiful 870 will supposedly be around ¥ 50,000, I need to save all the money I can. :D

That is one expensive shotgun!

Just translated the text online and this is what came out:

"If you think of the new dimensional system this shotgun this, or where pump operation such as light in electrically assisted, and enjoy the sound and recoil of the force in the gas blowback formula.

3 departure simultaneous firing of conventional will follow of course. Or simultaneous firing number might be more, but I wonder a shot shell compatible traditional?"

I have no idea what they mean by the electrically assisted part as it doesn't make much sense to lighten the pump mechanism, but the gas blowback aspect has me VERY interested.

V-34 May 11th, 2013 11:22

I am super excited to see a VAL or VSS in the market, I think they look so cool. Good on you G&G.

Aquamarine May 11th, 2013 12:05

Electrically Assisted is also somewhat of a 'new' patented setup that Marui is using. Similar in concept to the MGC MP5 that ran gas in it's magazines but needed 3 (yea, three) AA batteries installed down the charging handle.

But wait... there's more... an 'oldie' but a goodie coming up, NOT from Marui but from a new company soon to emerge and shake up the entire airsoft market, world-wide. There's another reason I'm moving back to Canada... and I should apologize to any retailers in advance that I piss off in the next 2-3 years ;)
