Compatable Stocks?
hello, i was wondering if the ''Quick Opening'' butt stock on the VFC HK 417 would fit on my G&G HK 416 from what i could tell in videos and pictures they look similar on the attaching side. I think its possible but i cannot find the actual dimensions to compare them and be sure.
if anyone has any info i would apprciate it! |
If the gandg will take TM type buffer tubes and stocks then a JG 416 stock will fit (its the same proper E1 stock seen on the real 416)
Like so http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:A...l3UNceQPhZVEW8 Tho its not 100% the same as the real 416 (mainly the the button/lever for adjuting it isnt correct) Its about the closest in airsoft. Im not sure if the vfc is the same spec as TM type buffers but id imagine it is so it should fit. |
so a JG will fit or a TM?
sorry you are some what confusing... |
He said if your gun is made to TM based specs (airsoft standard) then yes.

oh right on thanks guys

does anyone know a good store selling these stocks? delt with more then a few ''late'' deliveries and would like to avoid that in the future.
|
Finding one will be a bit of a chore. Prolly the easiest would be to find a junker 416 to pull the stock off of. Or just buy a jg416 (there cheap 200 bucks) then swap stocks and have 2 guns or sell the 416. Ive hunted for those stocks befor and had no luck.
The problem is there has only really been one company that made s propper 416 stock on its own as a part to buy (hurricane and they are in the 150 doller range if you can find one. I seen a UK site with em for £85 back in the day) Aside from that they are made only as part of the gun itself and most 416's just come with the LE type stock or a plain crane stock. |

Sweet i looked there put 416 stock in the search bar with no luck. Now ima grab a cpl too.

Lol, I wasn't even looking, just browsing through different retailers when I saw that and thought of this thread.

I wonder, does AEG HK416 stock will fit on a GBBR? There's a couple of magpul that I check but always says AEG, wonder if we can fit them.
|
Aeg buffer tubes will be fatter then gbbr ones real steel parts fit on most gbbr.
As far as i knos there is one off brand of gbbr that uses mostly aeg parts but for WE's im prety sure its RS stuff you want. Now that doesnt mean it wont fit but itll be loose and may not lock in place. Also for RS there ars two types of tubes/stocks a "mil spec" and a standard/civilian type so youll have to find out what one the gbb has. As far as i know the civi stocks will fit on the mil tubes but the mil stocks will be too tight on thd civi tubes. Hopefully someone with more hands on knowlage can chime in |

also, since they are so far away from Alberta...what is the best delivery method? and does anyone know how much all the other fees will add up? never delt with someone so far away...makes me nervous. |
Duties are sort of varriable but half the cost of the items isnt unheard of. I once payed 60 bucks dutie on a 40 doller chest rig. And only paid 30 on a 300 doller gun (omgwtf lol) so it all depends. And yes youll get it you only cant order mags with fake bullets lower recivers (unless its the upper that is the restricted part like on an mp5) and pistol frames.

perfect, thank you very much.
