Time for a tease, Tokyo Marui before Hobby Tron
http://www.airsoft2day.com/news/1203...obby-show.html
http://i42.tinypic.com/2db7byb.jpg The Tokyo Hobby Show 2013 is set to take place at the Tokyo Big Sight venue this coming September 16th and 17th; as is customary for airsoft manufacturer Tokyo Marui, the company has already released limited previews of the products it intends to formally reveal at the event. From left to right, the first teased replica appears to be that of the Israeli TAR-21; an electric model of the bullpup rifle is rumored to be expected, whether that model will belong to Marui's latest recoil shock series or entry level Boys series remains to be seen. An M4A1 Carbine with authentic Colt markings looks to be the next product; Marui to date have released a standard, recoil shock, and Boys series version of the American assault rifle leading many to think this next iteration may be gas blow-back based. Unofficially, the third pictured replica is Marui's gas blow-back H&K HK45; long displayed as a mock-up in past shows, the German pistol now appears to be ready for its formal debut.[1] The last replica pictured remains perhaps the most mysterious; variations of the HK416D and HK417 have all been widely expressed by enthusiasts, though no clear consensus has yet been reached. As intended, these previews do not reveal so much as they encourage speculation and anticipation; fortunately less than two weeks remain before the Tokyo Hobby Show gets underway and the details behind these replicas is finally announced. don't mind the title, my bad on my part |
Oh, more m4's.

The buzz is that it's a GBBR M4.

What are these things? Parts of a space ship?

I plan on going to the show on the 16th if I can get out of a scuba dive. Will be trying to be one of the first to post photos :D

All my heart wants is a TM gbbr.
|
Confirmed... Tokyo Marui GBB M4A1!
|
thank you for goods.

So the decided NOT to release the gas model that they were working up to, which is sad and TM also decided that the TAVOR is good enough for kids but not for adults, which is why they have released the TAVOR BOYS version....
In other words, you can get a TAVOR by TM that's 80% it's real size. *yawn* Some other new releases, and more yawns. |
CAG 416 is "OK" but nothing groundbreaking.
|
What ever happened to the m&p they hinted at a while back
|
there was a pretty black m&p with no markings as well as a complete, ready to go model of that HK45.
My prayers have been answered though! They also displayed those white model things for FUCKIN USPs! been waiting for that one for years and years, hopefully it won't take that long again for one to actually be in my hands. Can't find the image link atm, at work. |
|
glad that the USP is not fully dead, well ever since that KWA dropped their H&K line... but, man does that M&P and H&K45 looks mighty fine
but my own concern is that there is no top monolithic rails, like the US tavors, boo! but what most caught my eye was this, totally unrelated Amazon.co.jpF ‘åŒ^ ƒnƒ“ƒhƒOƒŒƒl[ƒh@ƒIƒuƒWƒFiŽèžÖ’eŒ^j: ƒzƒr[ how far am i pushing for thinking of getting one? |
hk416...bah, M4 SOPMOD stuff mixed with the hk416
M4...HA! I got it right mp3 guns hot m4. Tavor...Boys, kinda disappointing that Marui didnt go after a recoil version. Would've been innovative HK45+M&P...YAY! |

Info source? -alex |
Thanks for sharing. But HK416, M4, Hk USP ? .....All are interesting but nothing really new or unique to raise my appetite.
|
i am not sold on the electric blowback thing but I agree the boys tavor is a massive let down.
a GBBR tavor even would be more inticing. as for the full lenth top rail comment... I agree i like the look of the full length rail better it's also a bit closer to the bore line from what i have seen |
M&P i'm sold and sign me up! i have been waiting for that pistol now for a while!
any retailers planning on getting it ? lol |
It's a shame that the Tavor isn't a full sized model, but it still looks like a decent CQB gun for a smaller guy like myself. Does anyone know how it looks internal-wise?
Edit: Wait, 8800 yen? Did I read that correctly? Ah, it uses double-A batteries as a power source. I guess that explains everything. |
|
Way to tease a guy...
I had a raging boner at the idea of a Marui GBBR. I was totally ready to sell all my existing GBBR platforms in anticipation for the Marui... |
TM's new "GUN SOUND AEG"
what a fucking joke |

I dunno whats more of a let down... the kids tafail21 Or... or the "Ultra cool new and improved M4 AEG with badly recorded gun sound affects only you can hear" The Boys Tar21 maybe is light enough to use in making Black Ops 2 quad rotor so it has A redeamable quality if your into Quad rotors and airsoft. Is the Boys market really big enough to warrant it? |
