Help with P90

Im new to airsoft and im getting a p90. I wanted to know if i have to get it modified or 265fps is enough power? I also wana know if anybody has a good idea for a average cost scope and laser to put on it and one of those really fat silencers????

anyother help is gonna be really apreciated

Do a little searching, but to quickly answer some of your questions, 265 is adequate, most people like a bit more zing, but that'll be fine for indoors play, most fields don't allow lasers, if you get the TR version it has rails on it so you can mount whatever optic you want on it. And I do believe it's threaded for a silencer, you just need to get one with the correct threading on it.

Actually I think the TR comes with a silencer.

gandar December 4th, 2005 20:56

It comes with a small one, I'm assuming he wants something more.... immense...

Greykin December 4th, 2005 20:59

I suggest sticking with stock for now. You can play indoors right now without having to buy a velocity reducer. (like moi ;_;)

I'll say about $100 for a good RDS.

You call that immense?

Try THIS on for size.

Maybe he means big around and not just long

Greylocks December 4th, 2005 21:43

Before you suggest anything more guys... direct him to the age-verification process.

something more like this.

There was a way better one that I wanted to use, it was big around, and fairly long but not TOO long with little rails extending onto it all the way around...

That suppressor is actually a bit smaller than the stock "SOCOM .45cal" suppressor that comes with the P90-TR.

It only looks big because of the angle I shot it at.

gandar December 5th, 2005 14:24

Yeah but it was the closest I could find in a rush, there was a specific one that I was looking for, but I couldn't find the shot and I didn't have much time before I had to head out.

actually im lookin for big in circumfrence and not too expensive (maybe)

Harbinger of Darkness December 6th, 2005 12:43

Make one. It's not too hard if you have any model building expirience. There's a thread on here somewhere about it. I'm far to lazy to look it up right now.

Man Solo December 6th, 2005 14:41

KM lightweight 40mm suppressor. I will post some pics of mine tonight. if friking rocks.
make sure you have a big(ish) rds on it
it looks a little wonky if there is nothing in the top rail IMO.

if you want to be able to attach and detach it quickly, you also might be interested in the QD silencers (KingsArms and GBtech make good P90 QD silencers)

Lt_Crazy December 6th, 2005 23:13

Thanx Guys! What about scopes??? Any sugestions for something pretty cool looking that works good and not too expensive??

|2enegade December 7th, 2005 00:37

I find open RDS's work nicely with the p90 since it has a CQB feel to it, though they have more parallax to deal with. For looks alone, just about any scope will look good on the p90 though, even the one's longer than itself!!
I personally use the ATN ultra sight (got it from this thread), its about $90 and works well. If you want better, you can get a Mojji one for about $120, or if you want cheaper, you can get a generic square RDS for about $50.
If you win the lottery any time soon, you might even want to go with a EOtech holosight!
