Looks like switching to safe decocks the gun... damn good idea. Also, short motor, interesting. What looks even more interesting is the recoil thing in the stock... says "Heavy-kick!" in the ad.
|
Hey, that looks interesting... just like my M4 internally... I wonder if the uppers will be interchangable... *dreaming*
Edit - Damnit, doesn't look like it. |
wow, that's so mine...
|
well then. looks cool but seems almost to good.
|
-_-
Oh sweeeeeeeet.... I emailed them last year about it LOL...
I told them about the T62K2 (M16) T86(Carbine) and the T91 (To be adopted carbine version of T86 with flap top receiver). I really wanted to see my country's rifle to be seen in Airsoft... DREAM COME TRUE!!!!!!!! Hopefully they come out with the T91 :D Here's a pic of T86.... the T91 is the same, but flat top. http://www.finalelites.com/pictures/twt86.jpg Saudi Arabia purchased the T86 from Taiwan not long ago. T86 beat the AK-74 and the Colt M16A2 in the torture test. It was able to work in dusty environment of the Middle East without any problems. It is 5.56mm just like any other armalite. |
I am happy as a clam with the T86... T91 would be too good to dream of...
will have to ask tru to bring one in for me =) P.S. whats up with the scope mount looking thing on the carry handle, is that like a QD mount or something? |
Something beat out the AK-47!?
me <--- not a doubter, just surprised. I thought it ALWAYS took the torture tests best (the AK...) Sounds neat... I hope these new AEG improvements (split mechboxes, recoil thingies...) start spilling over into other companies/guns. AEG's have been around long enough for the new concepts to start leaking in.. (IMO).. $450 USD is pricy.. :( |
Finally someone's making a T65! The first piston-driven AR-15 copy that was issued to an armed forces.
That looks AWESOME, and par for the course with Guarder stuff should be of tremendous quality. I'm in! :D Quote:
|
I didn't say "relatively" pricy...
|
Wow what an ugly piece of shit, that is the stupidest looking gun ever.

I suppose you prefer your" Nine " Mr Pimp? Serisouly , if you dont like it thats one thing, but you dont need to shit in a post like that. |
:rrr: Stop IT! I'm gonna be really tired working overtime on this one
|
Anyone know why the warning against batteries over 8.4v?
|
Am I the only one who thinks that thing is ugly as hell?
|
you know what your not the only one but I do love the M16 but something thoughs me off about this gun.
|
Nah, you're Number 2.
I'd be Number 3, but I'm impressed in the amount of work that went into that rifle. I just hate all Armalites. |

Yes, please don't mind G_Unit. Its "that time of the month" for her. Anyway, I think the gun looks quite nice. The little hump on the stock adds a bit of charactor!
|
I dont really see why this AEG is ugly. True depends on someones preference. Some find it ugly some dont. I find it cool and nice looking AEG. The design is like a new character of M16. Note on their gearbox split design looks strong enough to handle stiff spring and new features.
|
I usually hate Armalites, but I'd make an exception for this rifle.
|
YEAH....my dream come true!!!! when can i buy this airsoft?
|
I find it quite ugly my self, looks like a bad norinco AR clone........
Since the real one uses a AR18 gas system why not make a airsoft ar-18? :D http://world.guns.ru/assault/ar18.jpg |
Maybe I'm crazy, but I would like one of the old AR-10 rifles.
http://world.guns.ru/assault/as16-e.htm http://world.guns.ru/assault/ar10b.jpg http://world.guns.ru/assault/ar10.jpg http://world.guns.ru/assault/ar10s.jpg Anyone agree, or would you all say I'm crazy? My favorite guns are the M16 VN and CAR 15 for the M16/AR line though... |
well the AR-10 is a 7.62mm round not a 5.56 like the rest of the Armalite seris.
|
HK 416

the only parts to make a AEG HK416 is the hurricane body and hurricane front gas block. It would be cool if they built a full HK416.
|
is nobody but me noticing that there's something funny about those gears?
|
It's probably higher torque gears requiring a half-tooth piston; just like some Systema FTKs.
|
Anyway, time to drag this thread from the dust.
Has anyone picked one up? If you haven't noticed, it's good news. $360 from RedWolf and WGC. Though the barrel is long... and I hate that, if I can get rid of my ICS in time for this to still be in stock... I think this will be in my cards. Still, would like a review, or more info. Anything really. |
I just got 3 in stock on Friday!
The finish is a little gross. Looks like a kind of cheap Asian product, but I have a feeling that the real steel is actually nastier looking. I'm at ShotShow right now and saw some Chinese AKs and some Russian wares at a collectors booth. They're downright ogly and have the value engineered feel you come to expect from ChiCom kind of weaponry. Castings often have tool flashing (busted off bits at the parting line of the casting tool). Big fat slopppy tolerances which are great for not jamming with sand or grime (a lot of clearance) but they make for crummy aesthetics. I have to admit that the TM AKs are not very realistic to me now. They're just too clean. Wide issue Chinese stocks are made from materials that are kind of close to pallet grade wood. At least they're cross laminated so they don't develop a huge warp. Mmmmm... Select grade M14 with thermal imaging scope... The HK MP7 is an incredible bit of sub gun. When I get back, I'll power up a Guarder TW Armalite and see how it does. First impressions are not bad though. It's certainly got heft. The barrel is also in pretty stiff. Stock metal body and a stiff outer barrel. I don't think this thing will develop barrel wobble. |
What about this 'recoil stock' thing that we've been specualting on?
|
WOW a AEG Hard-Kick...first time for me...lol
|
Yeh, Madmax, kindof agree about the whole "too clean" thing.
It contributes to the toy-like feel of some guns. How are the innards on those guns? |
It's about as fair to call this gun a Guarder product as it would be to say the Vibe is manufactured by Pontiac. This gun is actually built by a company called Lihyang or something to that effect; looks like Guarder only stuck their name on it to get it to market. Which is too bad because it seems to be very mediocre and is sullying Guarder's reputation.
|
Stock reminds me of the one off the ar-18
http://world.guns.ru/assault/ar180b.jpg and the foregrip looks almost like the one on the ar-10a2 http://world.guns.ru/assault/ar10a2.jpg |
Still waiting on that review you promise, MadMax. :D
In any case, I've always thought the real T65K2 looked a little bit cheap, at least from the pictures I've seen. If my parents didn't skadoo to Canada, I'd have had to hump one around by now. |

NONONONO  |
u guys would need some Taiwanese camo for that !!!
let me know if u need some :salute: |
any word on what that "hard kick" is like?
|
The gun certainly bucks more than most AEGs. I can't say it's anything like recoil though.
At first the semi auto seems a little buggy, but I think it's because of the decocking feature. If you switch to safe from semi, the gun decocks. I note that semi works as expected on the second shot but the first pull seems a little wierd. Out of the box, the gun chronos 381 +/- 3fps which is pretty consistent. I haven't tried the hop up yet. The overall build is very stiff. No sign of barrel wobble. I don't know if this gun could develop it as I'm not willing to field NIB guns I plan to sell. It's definitely heavy. Almost every exterior part is metal. The only plastic parts on the outside are the stock and grip. The stock finish is pretty nice and grippy. I haven't had a chance to look into the mechbox yet. |
Sigh. In the end these AEGs are not field worthy.
Guarder pushed them as preupgraded AEGs, but they said nothing about the mechbox. The stock gears are plastic. The demo model I powered up has already shredded it's bevel gear despite only firing a few rounds. I'm not sure if it's possible to refit them for TM mechboxes, but they're certainly garbage if they don't release metal gears. Such a shame because the bodies are pretty well made. I don't know how they thought they could get away with 380fps and plastic gears. Guarder mentioned to me that they were planning to release upgrade components for these AEGs. I'll have to see if I can get them to do some metal gears. These AEGs are not saleable with the stock plastic gears. Gaah. I have three of the damn things and they're not saleable as game guns until Guarder releases metal gears... |
BUMP, for great justice and more info from those that own this gun. Is it true then that it's not made by Guarder?
I'm seriously considering buying this gun, so any input would be greatly appreciated. |
I would have to warn against the Guarder marketed TK65. Great feeling model with good aesthetics, but the gears are utter garbage.
They're brittle plastic for an AEG which shoots around 380fps stock. The ridicululous bummer is that the gears are proprietary. Sagami motor (same maker as TM motors), really rugged build, and garbage gears and piston not substitutable with TM stuff. I have a small hope that the mechbox parts could be replaced with the two piece ICS box, but in the stock build without a complete gear change the TK65 is just a great model. In about 30 shots, I stripped the bevel gear and cracked the piston. So I'm stuck with 3x TK65's that I took a gamble with and can't sell because of the crap gears. |
If you put a spring in it to get it closer to 300 fps do you think it will last a lot longer? Maybe you should make an upgrade gear tp sell ;-)
