Brand of BBs that you use

Just wondering which brand off BB are most popular to use... if you pick other, what brand do you use then? :D Thanks!

yanhchan March 9th, 2006 15:49

Used TM and KSC...I prefer TM more...

TFZ-OZ March 9th, 2006 15:52

I used to use Airsoft Elite & Excel

But its all BB Bastard!!!!!! now

Hortons Heros March 9th, 2006 15:55

Flying colours .25s-no jams and consistent when firing with a scope...sketchy name, great performance.

Greykin March 9th, 2006 16:01

I'm in the exact same boat as troz. I used to use AE's, but since they stopped coming around, I started using BB Bastards.

Silver Wolf March 9th, 2006 16:03

Airsoft Elite for me .20

Magix7 March 9th, 2006 16:31

SystemA

Uziguy March 9th, 2006 16:37

I read a review somewhere online where all of these bb's were tested againt each other and the KSC perfect bb's won overall. Im sure if you search on google you will find it.

[Avtomat] March 9th, 2006 16:41

Yep here is that link with the reviews

http://www.airsoftmechanics.com/reviews.php

i bookmarked it for future reference.

-Trooper- March 9th, 2006 16:49

I only use .20 and .25 bbs from TM.

Armyissue March 9th, 2006 16:49

How can you write a poll and not include BB Bastards?

Amgoosen March 9th, 2006 17:14

I use BB Bastards.

Snow_Raven March 9th, 2006 17:23

I used Excel just because its what I have and what my good friend Knight sells, I've had no problems with them so far.

zapplez March 9th, 2006 17:24

BB Bastards.... best price, best performance.

Captain Tenneal March 9th, 2006 17:47

BB Bastards.. Used .2 Blacks and Whites and .25 Whites. Work great for me.

colonelsharky March 9th, 2006 17:49

Airsoft Elite .25's

longshot March 17th, 2006 21:56

Intruder Shop .25's...excellent.

paranoid987 March 18th, 2006 00:13

Bastard .25's

DoctorDeath March 18th, 2006 00:57

KSC, good BBs at a great price, probably the best price for quality BBs. I think BB bastard's are 15$ for 2500 rounds, I get KSC at 18$ for 4000 rounds. And BB bastard claims to be the cheapest BBs :?

firemachine69 March 18th, 2006 01:37

A mix of TM (.20), AE (.20), and BBB (.20).

Which reminds me, I'm going to need .25 for summer games...

Dozer_01 March 18th, 2006 10:11

I have had nothing but problems with Excel in my previous AEG's. AE, KSC, BB bastard are great!

Carvs March 18th, 2006 11:37

BB Bastard

RobG March 19th, 2006 00:11

KSC .2 -> Never had a single problem with these
Matrix .2 green glow -> Never a single problem
BB Bastard .2 green glow -> Never a single problem

It is interesting to note that the green glow bb's are a lot tougher than the ksc bb's. I did a 'crush test' with pliers and the ksc break much easier.

i didnt see the AE option , so i voted "other", but i use AE because tehy are conveneant, and they work good for me.

KSC at that price is hit and miss (I found anyways), plus, I wouldn't say 'cheapest' I'd say most inexpensive considering the quality. In my latest batch which actually arrived today I've had them made to spec and shipped by slowboat, so this latest batch is going to be a bit different than what people
have been getting - it should raise the bar somewhat on quality. Check out the BB Bastard thread for more details if your interested.

BTW, I use BB Bastard... of course...

CDN_Stalker May 15th, 2006 16:11

I use:

0.25g BB Bastard and Airsoft Elite ammo for my MP5;

Digicon Straight 0.30g, 0.36 or 0.43g BBs, mostly in my G19 GBB;

and 0.29g Maruzen Super Grand Master sniper BBs in my M24 and M700 sniper rifles.

Hence my clicking "Other". ;)

sherlockbonez May 15th, 2006 16:13

AE, TM, EXCEL .2s
AE, KSC, BBB .25s

manchovie May 15th, 2006 16:25

guarder bb's all the way. the batch that was packaged in bags is excellent (bottled kind is alright too). some guns dont like em because of their SLIGHTLY larger diameter, but it made a very noticeable difference in my m14 SWS. when i switched back to green bb's, i lost about 25ft of range (the point where the bb's start fanning out moved back 25ft).

tsuru May 15th, 2006 16:51

Maruzen 0.29g SGM's in my G-Spec
BB Bastard 0.25g in everything else

thephenom May 15th, 2006 20:41

0.2 Excel for basement fun
0.25 Excel and TM on my AEG/GBB
0.3 Straight on my M700 (switching to SGM when my friend gets them back from Japan)

damage May 15th, 2006 21:36

I trust KSC perfects on my AEG's and now Systema. So far I see Systema is better than the KSC Perfects.

.20 and .25 and now $5/1000 rounds. I don't think you'll find .25's less expensive unless they cut corners (polish, consistent weight/shape).

Due to the strength of the Canadian dollar, I've been able to pass savings onto my customers as well as offer .28 and .30 product.

Spawn28 December 13th, 2007 08:55

BB Bastard and nuthing else will ever see the inside of my guns!

Molson December 13th, 2007 09:07

Mapcinq December 13th, 2007 09:24

This pool is so gay :D

Crunchmeister December 13th, 2007 10:43

I've been using whatever I can get my hands on for just target practice. I've tried Velocity Arms, and KSC so far in terms of "brand names". I've also bought those "Arctic White" biodegradable BBs from Walmart. I've found them pretty good, although they tend to shatter on impact with anything solid. But using them outdoors for target practice, they're ok.

Oddly, KSC "Perfect" BBs don't agree with my KSC Glock 17. They tend to jam in the magazine. I've tried a few different brands (even cheapo Crosman .12) in my Glock, and they give me no issue at all. But KSC BBs frequently jam the magazine for some odd reason.

Should be receiving some metal tech BBs soon. Gonna try those out and see what they're like. Once I need more, I'll try BB Bastard.

bastard .28 & .25

Styrak December 13th, 2007 13:57

I used some .20 and .25 X-Parts when BBS was selling them and they seemed to work well. I now have .28 Toy-Jet's and them seem to work good too.

I'm using a 400 FPS AUG.

jameskersten December 13th, 2007 14:17

So far I have been using BB Bastard .28 in my PTW, I also ran .25 Metal Tech in my ICS. Both are great.

Naglfar December 13th, 2007 19:14

I only use bastards, .25s currently but once my last bag empties (probably sometime in the middle of the next season, I rarely hose) I'll move to the .28s

Cpl T. Syndrome December 13th, 2007 19:23

Bastards in, everthin else stays out!

Razzberry December 13th, 2007 19:42

I use BB Bastard

BBS December 13th, 2007 19:43

BB preference is mostly subjective but the proven top competitors are KSC, TM, BB Bastards, guarder and whatnot

Its safe to say that KSC Perfects .20g ($.004 cents each round) have the best bang for the buck. BB Bastards is some good stuff.

ThunderCactus December 13th, 2007 20:16

KSC perfects for tightbores when I need to be accurate, flying colors in my 249 and tightbores when I run out of KSC perfects lol all .25s

Sergeantmajor December 13th, 2007 20:44

haha...i dont play, but i couldnt resist...no one like the crossman softair .12 grains? their like 5000 for $10

HELLFIRE989 December 13th, 2007 20:58

If you want quality go with Metal Tech BB's they are proven and quality is guaranteed. I will put nothing but Metal Tech bb's in my aegs . Especially with the new pricing I have offered. However to not be bias I have tried ksc bb's and they seem decient aswell.

herr baron December 13th, 2007 21:11

I use the ol' bastards

MADDOG December 13th, 2007 21:16

Bastards!

leblanc74 December 14th, 2007 18:02

super_six_four December 14th, 2007 18:17
