What the hell you talking about? It looks great. You have to retarded to be confused using it.

I actually think this design is much better - I don't see what's so terrible about it... the navigation's a lot easier, the product details allow you to look at multiple views of a product... and because the testimonials don't have a "more" button on it... the website sucks?

On the plus side, I hear Crye is working on shipping internationally by the end of the summer. New stuff possibly in the works as well.

I am not sure who makes them, but I wouldn't buy them. They sound too cheap, too good to be true. At most surplus stores you buy a used pair of Canadian combat boots for $50-$100. I use a SWAT-type boot because they are comfortable and durable as hell.

Crap, so now they carry some of their accessories in OD.

I went and bought a black wallet and clipboard because I had no other choice.

Used Desert, and occasioanly new Altama Jungle boots go for roughly $50 at most decent surplus stores, which is why I'm curious. I doubt CPG would have as much of a price hike as a physical storefront.

I live about a 3 minute drive from Wheeler's, I've been in there a number of times, and if those boots are the same ones they have in the store, they're not cheaply made, they're actually quite sweet.

I just finished perusing the new site...and wow. I love the organization of it and commend them for seperating the Nurses and Hikers kit from the Military kit :cheers:

I stopped in today, specifically to look at the boots- they were Rothbury... or Rothman... something like that (it was at 10 am and I didn't have a pen to write it down, sorry.) Anyway, the boots themselves aren't bad, the leather is kind of soft, almost like suede, and the tops are made of a fairly thin nylon sort of material. It felt a little flimsy, to be honest, like if you caught it on a sharp branch or a rusty nail or something it'd tear a nice hole in the material. On the plus side, they'd be awesome for hot weather, they seem like they're made to keep your feet cool more than anything.

Also, the rubber bottoms were hefty, and quite sturdy feeling. It's not that cheap rubber that slips around when it gets wet, either, it seemed quite nice. I'm not sure if they were meant to be waterproof; they had these little 'airhole' things, like ventilation in a baseball cap, know what I mean? Down towards the sole of the boot.

The desert boots felt MUCH sturdier, made by the same company (Rothsay? Rotorooter?) :smack: but they were mostly that leather/suede material. They were also heavily padded at the top, not like a winter boot, but like they were designed to prevent chafing or blisters, etc. The soles weren't bad either, well stitched and all that.

I didn't try them on or anything, (in retrospect, I should have) but they seemed to be decent boots for their price. And I'm pretty sure they're guaranteed, too.

Absolutely. I hated browsing a hundred-line-long list of individual items.

They're jungle and desert boots...just the way you'd expect them to be, but with the wave soles.
