Well I have a full German kit pretty much and so does Stealth Omega, I was wondering if there was any other people in MB who were interested in WWII or have any equipment.
|

I will be working on an allied impression. Not sure if it'll be 1st special forces (hard to do apparently) or american (rangers, 82nd, 101st, or other). Anyone with allied interest, let me know.
|
It'd be aweomse to see a Canadian impression. Thats my next years project anyhow.
|
Guys, you really need to do a field trip to Ontario. We are your neighbours you know.
Ld |
Canadian would be pretty sweet. According to Marway Militaria's website(Winnipeg based), they have Canadian WWII badges and patches, and books about Canadian/British uniforms.

Plus then there's all the addictive other bits & pieces that you just have to have. The unit was kept at Divisional level for those that might want to do a British or Canadian (1CANPARA) impression. It would be awesome to see some 1CANPARA airsofters out there. Yorkie. |
I'm going for FSSF (Devil's Brigade). A Canadian wearing American uniform, using American guns. I'm awaiting two orders to come in.
Although, it would be pretty sweet to be straight up Canadian with a Lee Enfield (Enfield stock, kar 98 guts, custom make any other needed parts... would that work?) |

Remember to get your mountain trousers :P |
They're already ordered. Same with the V-42 combat knife that only they used to carry :D

Still need my webbing and that damned knife :( |
I ordered my knife from Militarytour.com (Manitoban company) and I'm just waiting for them to process my order. My M1937 shirt and trousers, and mountain trousers are already on their way from WhatPriceGlory, and soon I'll put in an order to AtTheFront for everything else.
How many guys in your region do WW2? |
Guys,
I am an "airsofter" from the philippines trying to get a WWII US Paratroop uniform and accessories to match my M1 Thompson and 1911 Pistol. My wife works at a hospital in Edmonton. Could you email me ( rmacasinag@poms.ph ) where i could get them? |
I think you guys should move to Ontario, or at least sign up on the forums.

I'm already signed up there. Waiting for another package to come in. Then I'll post pictures.

Not many if at all, I'm trying to get it started with a friend of mine. |
Necro! Bumping this because there are in fact people still interested in WW2 impressions here in Manitoba! For anyone wanting to hook up with those who do this, try http://www.facebook.com/groups/311389858938057/
We're having a trench digging work day at a local field. http://www.facebook.com/groups/374671589255003/ Is the location we're digging at. Don't know about you guys, but trench digging is way more fun than playing airsoft! Seriously. Come on out and lend a hand, meet some people, and see some WW2 gear that'll be on hand. |
Is there any age or dress restriciton for the trench dig?
|
To my knowledge no. I plan to bring my nephew along. This isn't a WWII themed trench dig, but rather what I mean was that some WWII players are bringing some gear along in hopes of gaining interest. I'll ask the host if people underage are allowed. It'd be a good idea to bring everything needed for comfrot while digging such as gloves and lots of water. Bring a lunch as well. If you want any further info you can contact me directly. Hope this helps!
