Mrs. Lawdog through to Second Round!

1 Attachment(s)
Thanks to all who voted the first time out. My wife was lucky enough to have made it through to the second round of the contest and needs your vote again.

To vote for Kim just send an e-mail with the title One Shot Two Kills in the subject to webmaster@romantictimes.com

For more info on the whole contest you can go to:

It's also your chance to have a say about the role of women in the military. One of the judges commented as follows:

Quote:

I found the heroine a turn-off, mostly because I disapprove of women who choose to go into combat.
Perhaps she should leave her 1950's attitudes at home.

This is my wife on our last vacation, I don't think you'll find her barefoot and in the kitchen.

Thanks in advance for your votes.

Nice pic, but where'd you take your wife on vacation to, man? A rebel militia camp in Sierra Leon? :D (j/k)

Doing my part! Good luck to Kim.

Actually that photo was taken at the private game conservancy at Lewa Downs in Kenya, until recently owned by Adnan Kashogi. We however spend a fair bit of time at AMREF and Flying Doctors HQ and were briefed on the current hot spots in Africa including Darfur. Very bad shit happening there. Got to hear some fascinating stories though, especially about Uganda and the Congo.

I'm afraid the judge's personal feelings with the subject will interfere with her objectivity. and personally dumbfounded that she can be so narrowminded on the subject of women in combat.

Jake November 14th, 2006 19:51

Vote sent for second round. Best of luck!

Kuraitenshi November 19th, 2006 15:56

I personally feel women should be allowed in a combat arms unit only if they can conform to a single standard none of this male/female handicap BS. Again, this is all personal.
