I am new to this hobby and am looking into building up an airsoft gun replica of the M4A1 carbine i would like to build it up from seperate manufacturers(not just some kit that all the pieces come together), i would like it 2 look as real as possible, price is not a huge deal but would prefer it to be rather afforable, So what companys make the most realistic M4 rifle? the accessories i would like to install on it would be an infrared scope,good sized suppressor,laser sight,M203 grenade launcher,tactical flashlight,and also if it could have ejecting shells even better:D ,in hindsight something like this except with laser sight and suppressor, thnx a bunch-A.R.P(also i would like it so it feels and weighs the same as the actual gun itself)

just anything that is steel because it weighs more

most real parts are way way cheaper, like the front sight and ras and its obviouslt way better quality.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Infrared scope", as far as my knowledge goes there is no such thing. Do you mean a Night Vision Optic? Or perhaps a Thermal optic?

As for weight, chances are will weigh more than the real thing after you slap everthing on there... I know its been done before with other AEGs.

Other than that, as 10 other people are about to say read the FAQs and take a look at the "canadian retailers" tab. Between Mark at A&A and the guys at ASCA you should find every item your looking for.

By the same token, get age verified so you can shop the used section as well.

Thermal and IR are the same thing. Hell, Elcan makes a scope called the Spectre IR. 'Course.....it costs as much as a 2 year old small car, but hell, he wants the best.

I'm sorry. "Realistic" and "affordable" aren't often allowed to be used together when talking about airsoft. That's the way it is - if you want realisitic, go buy a REAL M4....it's cheaper than trying to build a realisitic fake one.

I am going to impart to you the advice that I should have followed when I built my C8 (canadian version of the M4).

Just buy a Systema PTW. it will end up costing you less, and being more realistic than anything that even comes close, that you would build from parts.

yeah he really just wants a gun that is the same size and has a feel to it, like not a toy loking gun. so tm is fine for him.

That gun he depicted does have a lazer pointer on it. Its on the other side of that boom mount. This side has the tac light, and the other has a lazer.

I personally would get agre verified first and see what ASCA has to offer. For the price of TM M4A1, I'd rather pay a small fraction more for a full metal Classic Army from ASCA.

An M203 combined with a silencer. WTF? Pick one or the other, not both. You wouldnt see that in real steel, and yet you say you want it as realistic as possible.

I've seen pics at MP.net where some one has a 203, silencer and an acog on their m4.

Looking at the picture of the M4 that assaultriflepunk wants to make all I can think of is the old days of playing with lego and putting as much stuff on as I could. I see 3 empty rails, more flashlights!

I agree with thephenom, just get the CA m4ris from ASCA. If you are looking for a tm m4ris, you might be waiting for a while, I heard from hojo that there aren't any in stock from their distributer.

ive decided to go with all that gear as that is what i want, i want all the accesories on the gun, ive decided to go with real look and feel and not so much for it 2 be in metal and weigh real heavy(have held real canadian version of M4) just a bit 2 heavy, whatever TM has 2 offer to go with the M4A1ris im fine with that-Jay

yeah peeps need to remember that its what the person likes/wants. not what everyone else is doing and when he is all done with it there probably wont be many people with his exact setup so there he has a custom gun that hes stoked on.

The M203 has a catapult-like trajectory, would there not be a chance of an M203 round hitting the silencer?

As someone said, it has a barrel to make sure that doesn't happen, these arent Half-life 1 grenade launchers lol (if you played hl1, youl know what I mean)

It only has that trajectory cause we give it that. The Second it leaves the barrel it starts to fall, not rise. It is impossible provided it was functioning properly, for it to hit the barrel.

Since it seems you know what you want, your next step is to simply follow the rules of this site. Get age-verified, and order away from one of the Retailers.

I strongly suggest you go to games and rent a few models before launching yourself into expensive purchases.

Look at it as if you were buying a car; would you not want to test-drive one first or buy from a picture and description?

you dont NEED the sight and steel accessories if your not building a gun anymore since they come on it, but they are shitty alluminum on the tm, those are just for realism/weight.

You are fully aware the UN Company prices aren't the same as you pay here right?? UN Company is located in HK, so by the time you get a retailer to import the parts here, it'll be quite a bit more. (Just checking)

Just a rough guess at looking at the parts, you can easily be looking at a close to $1500 bill including taxes. (Rough estimate: $500 + $90 + $70 + $250 + $50 + $120 + $60 + $100 + $40)

you could settle for a tm gernade launcher also which works like a shotgun, takes shotty shells and has three barrels, shoots 3 bb's in one shot. and its abs so it isnt as costly

a sling? you can get those anywhere, go to daves army surplus in new west

M203 + suppressor? classic example of America's Army... use the suppressor and kill until you're caught. then blow em away since you're spotted anyways. nothing like making a loud exit.

If you get age-verified (how to do that was pointed out to you, just read it), you will have access to ALL the buy/sell sections. Anything you want you can get for the Retailers, including slings.

y'know, if your using as silencer, you might want to cut out the launcher....
not real stealthy..... unless you manage a silencer on a launcher, but you would have to custom build that... are you good with a hacksaw?
